ANTARCTICA - Cinematic (Part 1)

- In late November, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to journey to the end of the world - Antarctica. This is what I saw.
Part 1 encompasses the first two and half days of our 10-day expedition. As we leave the safe harbor of Ushuaia, Argentina, we make our down the mountainous Beagle Channel at sunset.
Our next two days we experience the tumultuous waters of the Drake Passage accompanied by some of the world's biggest birds. We also come across a tabular iceberg as the waves hit their peak.
And finally, we reach the white continent itself .

Thank you for all that you poured into this video. I have watched dozens of videos of people taking expedition cruises to Antarctica, and yours was the best by many orders of magnitude. Thank you for making the nature around you the star of the show. And the words that you shared were like the best poetry, really helping me to notice things and process things differently than I would have otherwise. I will never get to Antarctica, but your video was almost better than being their myself because my attention was on the beauty of nature, and not on trying to make sure I was getting a good shot of everything I wanted to remember. I really, really hope that you are planning to share the rest of your trip.
