- This is my 2008 Dodge Charger R/T equipped with the Road & Track Package. Testing a newly installed Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back exhaust system ( part number 817480 ). Stainless steel, mandrel bends, no resonators, Super 40 mufflers, 4'' tips. This system is loud and will give you a fair amount of drone... and thumbs up.
Thank you for not adding ridiculous music to your video. The people who watch these videos only want to hear one thing: the engine!

Are you re-using the original catalytic converters or are they aftermarket?

Sounds like a 96-2004 4.6 GT with flows. I always loved the way they sounded. They were slow as shit though.
Josh Nixon They definitely always sounded amazing with Flows and especially without catalysts. Love that these Dodges have a similar sound but more power.

by the way this is a perfect video giving us an exhaust video, I want the 2008 charger I plan on getting to sound loud at idle and driving. I also plan on making it silver, modded tail lights and headlights, 22 inch chrome rims, and a loud sound system

I have the Thrush welded mufflers on my 06 RT. Sounds mean as fuck, just like yours.
nice sound I wonder if you recommend the flowmasters super 40s if I have a 10 month old. as for me I like the drone sounds and everything about the flowmasters sound my wife does too but I am torn between the delta flow and the super 40s. do you think your car is too loud for a small baby ????
I would recommend that you do a lot of research, especially on You Tube, or among fellow enthusiasts in your neighborhood. Exhaust sounds are not science but more a matter of personal preferences. The rumble will put any baby asleep, it sure did for mine, all three of them!
CMMQ I finally made up my mind and went with the flowmaster super 44's. after having them for a couple of months they really calm down which I was hoping they wouldn't. Now I am thinking about going with the 10's on my 2014 r/t classic

Hit Craigslist, you can 08's for less then ten, I drive a 2008 police charger with a 5.7, I paid 7 for it here in California
So The only thing i did to my Rallye '15 Charger was straight piped it and mufflers but i do regret it but if i end up getting the flow master american thunder exhaust. It would sound better?
