Ah the Merv Griffen Show! Those were indeed the days! Eydie was a magnificent singer and one of my all-time favorite female singers. Had the pleasure of seeing her and Steve live in Vegas. Both terrific entertainers. Wonderful memories. Such a loss. May she RIP.
Certainly one of Eydie's very best recordings. The emotion here is so very clear. And, God, it's live! And... Shelly Winters didn't sound too bad either.
This song got a lot of airplay in the fall of 1969. It definitely made the charts , during the hard rock Era. I remember listening to it often on major top 40 stations back then.
Sweetie Arie Appel, tonight I'll say a prayer for you wherever you may be, and hope that when I wake tomorrow you'd be here with me. How can I live without, you're all I'm thinking of.....
This is a lovely song. She sang it so beautifully. I remember a lot of Steve and Eydie’s tv performances in the 70’s and 80’s. They always gave great performances…strong voices, nice lyrics, wonderful presentations. They were a credit to their art.
She is so beautiful: too bad she's wearing a puke-brown Man's Blazer and Pants....... She is so talented!!! When she dresses in dresses, she is soooo beautiful!!!!!! I miss you, Eydie!!!
ITS TOO BAD THEY ONLY SUNG THAT OLD SENIOR MUSIC. REMINDS ME OF THE ASSISTED LIVING HOME I PUT MY DAD IN. COULDN’T GET OUT OF THERE FAST ENOUGH! THANK GOD HE ONLY LASTED A YEAR THERE!

Ang galing talaga ni eidie gorme
One of my fondest songs.
So underrated in the US. Her husband really stalled her career once they married. Such a gorgeous voice❤️ SABOR A MI.
What enjoyable shows they had back then
This would be a big hit if it was out in 1963
Perfect..!
Aw, and we also see Merv's grand side-kick, Arthur Treacher.
Agree!
She always sang live. No tape
