a solution of 50/50 vinegar/water also works wonders when sprayed onto the fabric, won't smell like vinegar but helps set or unset a crease mark

That’s turned out great. I’ve never seen a stretcher like that before, what a great tool. I still use my 1940’s electric iron that I got at a flea market a few years ago. It works well, along with a water spritzer, on stubborn creases. Really appreciate all the great ideas you show.

i'm afraid using press ironing might damage the texture of the fine wool fabric. You might as well explain to make sure that is ok?
