Sherlowe 2023 RC Glider Aerotow

A taste of the May 2023 Charity Glider Aerotow meeting at Sherlowe Aerodrome in Shropshire. We had a brilliant day on our visit with brilliant weather and great company. At the event there was a healthy mix of modern and vintage glider designs including;

Amazing how small a 3 meter glider looks among the big ones

I'm not sure whether I prefer vintage or modern machines. The vintage gliders seem to be more forgiving, and come in a wider range of shapes and colours.

Amazing video! Even busier than in 2020! How long is the tow rope?

On these bigger machines, the rope was typically 50 - 75 feet
