She has black kids, you better believe this woman is genuine in her fight for more inclusivity
*biracial
rhagar mills black*^
Chelsea Isaac biracial, her kids have a whole white mother. We can’t claim everyone as black.
@@Chelsea-hf6kw dont be stupid now.
Life Choice in a white mans eye they are black so please stfu y’all quick to claim Hispanics are black so please stfu they face almost the same amount of struggle as black people they may not be fully but taht half white doesn’t stop them from being profiled and looked at in society ...
You age like fine wine when you're unproblematic
Age like fine wine. That's funny cause she us part Italian. Lmao
Yeah her skin looks like 60's not 49...
@@danniwills8739 but win is from france
@@Polyrytmi no dear. France is one of the place that it is now made.
@@danniwills8739 oh okay I thought france was a wineyeard in italy?
This woman is a magical being
She makes one feel that maybe 6,000 more like her will use their priveledge for a better tommorow?
I don't know about that cause she's married to a black man luv has know color she's amazing
Wow. Ellen Pompeo is savage AF. .....And I 👏🏾 AM 👏🏾 HERE👏🏾 FOR👏🏾 IT 👏🏾 . She's invited to the cookout!
But can she bring food though lol
Joshua Dunk yes cause her husband would cook it 😂
Shanice Sweetsmile 😂😂😂😩🤦🏽♀️
I have a question : could I as a white woman bring food because I am italian so I can promise it's good? ;)
@@jaymoor5309 i m sorry but african americans saying that white americans have no food it s the pot calling the kettle black :))
You don t have the right to say that
Asian Americam, South and Central Americans,Europeans,Africans,Carribeans etc....yeah they do
🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 She is so consistent and I appreciate her authenticity
She is its refreshing
I think Ellen and Viola Davis should team up
this is the greatest thing I have ever heard
Good idea!
@Nelson's Rudolph they didnt mean get together in a relationship, they meant collab or something like that hahah x
Ohhhh. ❤
YES YES YES
shes invited to all the black functions
Deron Reed 😂
Black people are banned from giving out invitation till we figure out what is going on...
y’all always wanna invite somebody to this damn imaginary cookout
What's up with that
@@mariahyohannes right? Plus I never get invited.😔.......is it because I'm black?
Ellen is such a breath of fresh air.
Lady J IKR
A stunning human being😻🤍
DAMN she looks exactly the same as when she was in season 1 of Grey's, and at the same time she looks a little bit older but looks like she aged gracefully.
Edit: Ooohh wow this is the most likes I've ever gotten in my life, thank you
Christopher Gonzalez I mean that’s untrue. But ok. She looks older than dirt.
Not true. But she is beautiful.
Yes, she is a gorgeous woman, but she doesn't look the same, did you see her neck?
Her entire face is full with fillers but " she aged gracefully"? All women over forty who use fillers look like hamsters.
Ellen looks gorgeous. She’s almost 50. So don’t say she looks like a grandma bc she doesn’t and she looks young too. And she doesn’t use fillers. Sorry if it sounded rude and doesn’t make sense lol
I agree with Ellen. There is a problem if we are scared to have these conversations. I am not. I love speaking about race, gender, religion , sexuality, etc. The topics are deep and interesting and it is the root of all violence. We need to celebrate differnece and unite as one people. We can decide to look at our skin colour or the fact that we are all one race - The Human Race.
@@kamarll1 As are you 😉
The problem isn't just in the conversations, it's in consistently stomping out ignorance, color-blindness, bigotry, negative stereotypes, and racism. Addressing anyone with respect goes a long way in addressing the issue. We all come from somewhere, why can't we all just come from a place of acceptance too? Starting to celebrate and embrace our differences will change us from white and brown to the color of acceptance and unity.
🤲🏽We welcome you (all) to the feast of conversation and change. I do believe Ellen gets it. It has knocked on her door.👏🏾
Hell yes
As dialogue coaches say "if you don't talk it out, you will act it out.". Bias works that way, hate is behind it.
I love that Ellen is so candid on societal issues regarding LGBTQ, POC, and woman empowerment. She is so inspiring.
Every color should celebrate every other color. We should all celebrate each other.
Exactly!!!
I love your comment! You're so right
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 yep
The rainbow would look like shit in only one color
Amen
it is so good for people to be able to talk about the subject race without anyone getting offended, because no matter what your nationality is. or your color is we can always learn something from one another's race
Ellen is very genuine and loving and artistic and uses beautiful positive words that empower. I wish more people would have this conversation like Jada and Ellen have here. It's beautiful!
As long she never says "I don't see colour" mad respect. That's a seriously blind and confused statement.
For sure. Easy for white person to say I don't see color. Excuse to not speak up for black excellence
Ugh. I hate when people say that. I know some people who just use that as an escape but some people genuinely think they are being inclusive. And it’s like no. I want you to see that I’m different than you. I’m brown and I’m proud. I don’t want you to act as if I’m not. I want you to accept me for who I am.
You can't say that because I say that and all I mean is that from my POINT OF VIEW is that I see no "color" as in that's the farthest thing from my thoughts when I see your skin color. You have to see both sides of what's being said with the information givin.
Steve Odame yeah I can. As a brown person I’m telling you what “I don’t see colour” means to people of colour. As I said, I understand that some people genuinely think they are being kind in saying that. I’m telling you that it’s not. It’s an annoying statement. It’s okay to acknowledge that I’m a different colour than you. I understand you mean that discriminating against me based of my colour does not cross your mind. But I’m telling you we don’t like hearing it again. Because we are proud of our colour. We want it acknowledged. We just don’t want to be treated different because of it. At least that’s my view.
@@dhasi00797 I don't disagree I'm a black male, I know exactly what you mean but all I'm saying is you can't assume where someone is going with a certain topic, you need more information.
I totally didn’t know this about her, she’s awesome. I am biracial myself and my white mother always made sure that I was proud of all parts of myself. We always talked about race openly and I believe that’s where it starts, how we discuss race at home, in front of our children is very important.
I think we should all focus more on being a good human beings and less on immutable physical characteristics. Why is the left so fixated on race?
Biracial and proud but it was never fixated on growing up and still isn't and I'm so grateful
I love this woman! 😍 I am not black but I feel the same way about black people! It's so refreshing to see a white person in Hollywood who genuinelly loves black culture and stands up for it!!
Thank you keep spreading the love!!
Bless your soul Ellen! The society needs more people like you.
Gosh I love her. She’s so straightforward and inspiring
She's a breath of fresh air! That level of authenticity is rare 🤗😍
This video made me smile so much! She is such an inspirational woman and she doesn’t care what people think of her and she knows what she wants and doesn’t care if people think it’s wrong or right she believes and won’t stop believing
This is why I love my Meredith 😩😩
Ellen is a real one. I love her she is using her platform to speak about race relations especially to advocate for her kids as well.
Yes totally agree we need to talk about it!!
I love this that she's open to dialogue , and she uses her voice to speak
Gosh, I LOVE this woman! I adore her passion, the power just resonates, I would love to have a good long conversation with her!
Such a beautiful human being, love is love and Ellen pompeo amazingly inspirational! Honestly, we shouldn't fear but ask, inquire and talk more that's how we can make a difference and change... period!
Ugh, I love Ellen Pompeo. She's so honest and beautiful and she's got such a great spirit. Her children are so lucky to have a mother like her. They will be very confident in who they are and I suspect will be beautiful souls just like their mom.
I love that she isn’t afraid to speak up about race. She is a true inspiration and the people that are leaving those nasty comments about her are the reason that racism is still a problem. I am white and I’ve never personally experienced racism but I do know that it’s a huge problem and it needs to stop. The color of a persons skin does not define who they are. There are way too many stereotypes and I really do hope that one day everyone is treated equally and skin color won’t effect how someone is treated.
This is why I love ellen shes bold and truthful and honest she has a beautiful heart and she has nailed every point on this interview
This woman is nothing short of incredible. You can tell she genuinely cares & it’s beautiful.
ellen isn’t here for her to get any recognition though. she is here to shine the light on POC. she shouldn’t be praised for just recognising POC. POC deserves the same respect as much as every great person living.
Im out of the loop. What is POC?

Ellen is beautiful from the inside out! I love her, and I love her speaking out on this topic!

And I love you Jada and your family 😘😘😘😘😘😘may God continue to you and your family 😘
Love the understanding behind the communication. I admire these women who want to approach the hard issues, but do it in a place of understanding and love and peacemaking. Not simply just for parading their opinions and forcing them on others.
Ellen! 😍❤❤❤ I love her personality she's so strong and vocal about things. Go Ellen!
I am a grown man of color, and every time I hear Ellen Pompeo speak, I get emotional. When she speaks, she gets it right, and she really is a role model for how white people should interact with people of color.

Ellen is amazing! I just listened to her on rupaul’s podcast and her life story and beliefs are something people need to listen to.
She’s a lunatic
They're all correct in what they're saying. I completely agree.
A graceful and strong lady for sure.
I didn't even know this about her.. Love her..
Honestly nobody is ever happy with the way people talk about race. If she said something bad about race then she would be judged and criticized but when she says something good she is still judged and criticized🤣
Ikr
🙄
Why should she just be spouting rubbish about race anyway?
I knew I love her for a reason on Greys she’s everything !
I couldn't love her more....but somehow I do. And I love Jada & the fam for having a platform such as this for soul talk/discussions.
Thank you Ellen

I can’t love Ellen more she is so awesome open minded and heart I just wish to meet her on real life and part of beauty of me becoming a doctor is because of her and grey’s anatomy ❤️

My biggest wow to all these wonderful women! 😍
This is great!!!
pompao seems so genuine🌸
Ellen I love you 😍😘😘😘💓 you have a beautiful heart and i pray God will continue to bless 😊 😘💓
This is so pure
This is so important, moms with mixed kids must have her mindset
I'm white. My husband is Samoan. We have 3 biracial children. All with different complexions. My middle child is the darkest-taking after his father. Somewhere along the line, someone's told him his skin is not nice, now he thinks he needs Mummys skin to be accepted. It breaks my heart. No one is better then another. Your culture and ethnicity does not make you more intelligent or superior than another person. It hurts my heart that these discussions even need to be had. But absolutely encourage them and I admire ppl like Ellen that say like it is. Good on her.
Yes! Love her so much!
Beautiful!! Use that white privilege for greatness 💕

White privilege doesn't exist sis.
