FLYING DRAGON - Paul Grilley's Yang Flow

  • FLYING DRAGON is a series of inversions and balance poses, where we bear weight mainly on the arms, accelerating the breath and the heart rate. The sequence stimulates the arm meridians and builds heat in the body, articulates the spine and introduces flexibility in the hips.
    You can practice Flying Dragon at any speed you desire and repeat it as much as you like, thus indeed building the heat in the body and advancing your level of fitness.
    Feel free to adjust the legs and the poses to your own anatomy and abilities, and make sure to continue breathing freely through the sequence.
    Paul Grilley’s Yang sequences are like little treasures. Once you have learnt them, you will own a beautiful and very accessible tool, enabling you to move and energise your body. You can practice Flying Dragon on its own, combined with Paul Grilley’s other Yang sequences, combined in your Yin Yoga practice or with any other type of exercise.
