  • This EscapeArtist video takes a quick look at what is fast becoming a bucket list item for adventure riders - Razorback Track in Kroombit Tops National Park, central Queensland.
The track is accessible from either the national park or from the Biloela approach and is 12 kilometres long from top to bottom, climbing (or descending) 1000m above sea level. It's a gnarly 4wd track that requires all of your attention and skill. A reasonable level of fitness is required and is not for beginners. The track is closed when wet, and for good reason.

That looked like a great track. Shots from the air was sweet, makes kroombit look good.

@@brianjones5475 I've been looking on briansales.com.au but there's not many going at a decent price. As rare as Suzuki Sierras.

Do you reckon a big adventure bike would be ok on that road, looks ok in the video?

The camera doesn't do the track justice. It is continually steep, loose and rutted for long sections. But to answer your question, yes, bigger bikes will definitely make it bearing in mind that it's not the bike so much as the rider. Many riders on GS1200s tackle this track but I'd say they have a harder time than most.

Something like a KTM990 would eat it up.
