This energy stressed my out😂 made it to min 7, relax girl
I'm doing a rainy muddy winter shoot tomorrow, with a beautiful senior high school senior who looks just like this girl! I have been worried sick about the weather - but now I'm excited to take gorgeous photos. I always write jokes on my hands for when I want a huge sparkly smile. I love your poses and how you are bringing out the beauty in this subject. Thank you for this great inspiration!
Your lighting for this video is auhmazing!
I really love your posing and including the camera settings is so helpful!
I am so glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
These are my favorite videos! This was so helpful, love your content :)
Thanks so much for watching! So glad you enjoyed it!
Love the photos !!! And the video is very helpful
"I'll just leave it right here cuz we're just going a couple steps"
Proceeds to walk an eternity away from her bag lol.
Where you shoot must have zero crime. In most places if you went far from your belongings for even 5 minutes, you'd never see them again.
Great vid, though. It was great seeing you interact with Jasmine. You genuinely seem to love shooting and that's great to see. Great stuff.
Hahaha, such a terrible habit of mine! Thanks for watching!
oh my goodness constantly watching you leave your bag has me Stressing for you!! lol
Hahaha! Definitely not my best habit! 😂
Awesome Hope! Thank your sharing....one request: Can you leave the settings up just a bit longer? They're flashing by a little too quick for these old eyes!!! :)
Thanks so much for watching, Pam! You can always pause on the settings so that you can read them if that helps! :)
I always feel like I’m on fast forward when I do a session. I don’t know why I feel like I have to talk so fast.
Me too lol
I still get this way sometimes! It's because of nerves!
ME TOO. I always get in the car feeling like I talked too much lol
👍🏻
I love this! Do you have a video on resizing an image for senior year book? Thanks for these videos…very helpful!
Awe your model is adorable, I also loved you included you getting to know one another =)
She really was the absolute sweetest!
After watching a previous video when you used the reflector I tried it on a shoot, but the sun got filtered through the trees. I do see the benefit of the handle for sure. Brought it to the next shoot, but my off camera flash did what needed to be done. But I will keep the dust of the reflector now :)
Please show the images longer than 1s!! It’s hard to take in the details when it’s flashed by so fast. I could pause, but I feel like I need Nintendo reflexes to catch it. Other than that, thanks for the BTS!
Love this idea! QUESTION : Do you do senior shoots' year around? When do you do most shoots?
I do! I'd say there is a bit of a "slower" season in the winter (Dec-Feb) and the peak of summer here in the South - but the most popular times are spring (April/May) and summertime before their senior year!
Thank you for sharing this video Hope.
You’ve got your sessions nailed down, less than 40 minutes and you did the intro part.
I do have a couple of questions…
Do your sessions always go that fast?
Seems like I shoot a lot longer cause I’m afraid I’m not going to give the client enough images.
About how many images do you take and about how many do you edit?
Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching! These are great questions.
1. My sessions do not always go this fast! Typically, they are closer to 1-1.5 hours long. This client only had 2 outfit changes and we ended up having to move it around multiple times due to bad weather, which is why we did our best to work quick!
2. I take anywhere from 500-800 images at a senior session and typically deliver 80-120 final images.
I hope this helps!
@@HopeTaylor thank you.
Hi! I watched some of your other videos when I found your channel. Just wondering how come you used a higher shutter speed here compared to 160 I think I just saw in another video? (with 250 ISO)
Obviously, different settings for different environments but is it because tthe wind movement of the trees or to bring down the brightness? Just trying to get an idea on the jump from 100-160 to 800-1000? Thank you!
Just watched your camera settings/workflow video which helped!
Very nice 👌 👍
I lived in Fredericksburg for a while , if you ever need an assistant on weekends let me know.
What camera lens did you use for this shoot? 85 and 50?
Yes! 50mm 1.2 and 85mm 1.2 :)
what size reflector do you use. I really love the handle aspect.
I was about to ask the same thing lol
I use this one: amzn.to/46vNHkH! Thanks for watching!
Thank you@@HopeTaylor
32" (using the white side) seems to be her go-to size. Seen her use it in several vids.
What’s your camera strap called?!?!?
It's called the "Black Rapid" camera strap! I absolutely love it!
@@HopeTaylor@HopeTaylor which style strap of the black rapid do you have? Sport? Womens? Original?
I don’t mean it bad but I’m really surprised that people actually pay for that it looks like an iPhone picture no background blur just minimum retouching and artificial positions which many people may consider not being represented by but apparently there is a market for that in your area :)
I can assure you that the Canon R6 and L series lenses do not create images that look like an iPhone and absolutely have background blur and retouching :) thanks for watching!
