His coach when he was a kid was my coach when I was in 5th grade. Shaq gave permission to our AAU coach to practice at that inside gym! We had to walk through the garage to enter the court and I must say I will never forget that experience!

When you buy a house you want that house to become a home. This house does not give you a homey feeling. Bigger does not always mean better.
When you have friends and family from all over the world, and plenty of disposable income, you buy whatever makes you happy :)
My post was regarding that this is not a house that feels like a home. Even if I had all the disposable income in the world I still don't find this house appealing. Just my opinion.

Beautiful home. Excellent. Shaq is and always do the best. Shaq is a awesome, respectful, intelligent, wise, smart, motivated, and stays away from negativity and negative people. Shaq has always given back to the not fortunate children. Love when he started years ago, he had basketball courts built in areas for children to play. And he continue to do great things. Shaq is just a breath of fresh air. He is truely amazing. Wishing him the best , happiness, peace and much more success.

I was here yesterday with my sis (just looking at houses in the neighborhood) Shaq's house was completely closd off lol couldnt even see it! Only a huge red gate that blocked off the house video and trees covering it. They have hidden the house well. We were like 'Dang!' cant even see it this home is soooo beautiful!!

Been in that home several times, everything about it is a dream. The location is the best in Orlando IMO.
Btw - the Siegels(westgate) were my clients when I worked for the magic, I did a hard hat walk through of Versailles, did they ever finish building it? That place felt like an office building.
Crazy house! Between Orlando, Tampa and Jupiter Florida there are a ton of celebrities making Florida their permanent residence.

I love how the home is 16 million and mostly every room she’s talking about re doing it and modernizing it… 16 million to spend atleast 5 million on renovations. And the worst part is that lake is deteriorating and turning into a swamp…. Smart to get rid of it now

Heard it's been on the market for years, asking 16,500,000 is steep with the remodeling it needs. I think Shaq needs to re-set the price around 13,500,000
All his kids are grown now, so he doesn't need all this space. I think a lot of people are tired of these mega mansions. Too much upkeep and time wasted you g from one end to the other. Question is where is he going to move all that memorabilia to?

Shaq said on Ellen, that he only used two rooms in the whole house and that's the kitchen because he likes to eat and bedroom because likes sleep. I guess he went and got him a normal size house because this is a total of 76k sqf. Ellen told him to get a hotel room since he only uses two rooms.
Well he did build a tree house on one of his properties. Pete the tree house builder on Animal Planet filmed it for his show. He just wanted some cool space to chill out.

I lived in Orlando for six months and hated the heat, humidity and traffic. It’s ok to visit in the Winter but I wouldn’t want to live there, even in Shaq’s house.
