    I’ve had this sprayer for two years, and couldn’t agree more! It’s been holding up great for DIY use, continues to work well, though I did DIY a spray gun because I didn’t like the wand (my preference).

      That's exactly right. The basic components of it are great but you can always upgrade certain aspects of it if you want rather than spending a lot more on another sprayer that may be upgraded way more than needed. Thanks for watching, Sean! I greatly appreciate the support!

    Having used this sprayer and a ton of others I can definitely say that I agree with your review. This is a great sprayer especially at the price point!

      Thanks, Brett! I have only used a few sprayers and this one and the sprayers plus sprayers are great brands for this piece of lawn equipment. I hope you and the family are well!

    Couldn’t agree more. I have had mine now for over a year and love it. Customer service for Spray Mate is great as well. That’s a big key in todays world.

      Good products with good customer service are usually going to be a win for most buyers. Thanks for watching!

    So many great battery sprayer options out there now to chose from. I remember when the Chapin 20v was really the only option for homeowners!

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před 2 lety

      I remember when that was a very common sprayer as well. There are tons of options now that I'd image are better than the Chapin. Thank you for watching!

    I need to upgrade from a 2 gallon to 4 gallon sprayer and this one might just be what I upgrade to. You can’t argue with that price and the option to upgrade what you want is pretty nice. Thank you for this revues I had no idea this sprayer existed!

      Thanks for watching! I'd definitely keep this one in mind whenever you're doing your research on the 4 gallon sprayer you purchase.

    Great review Ben. I need to invest in a backpack sprayer. That's the one thing I am still lacking.

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před 2 lety

      Thanks, Keith! Having a backpack sprayer definitely helps make liquid applications fast and easy. Thanks for watching!

    I love that they put the battery somewhere other than the very bottom of the sprayer (cough #Chapin cough), thus avoiding water corrosion.

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před 2 lety

      Yeah this one would be pretty hard to get water near the battery. I've sprayed the unit off with a hose and no water got inside the battery compartment. Thanks for watching, Koven!

    Good review. I’m all about function over bells and whistles. I have a my4sons and find it to be similar to this in a no frills backpack sprayer. If I were just getting into the spray game I would highly consider this sprayer

      Thank you! I tried the M4S but decided to return it. I know many people have said great things about it but I just didn't like the feel of it. Thanks for watching and for the support! I hope you're having a great lawn care season!

    I don't want to be "that guy" but first. Great review brother 👍! Carbon fiber wand? Awesome! They make driveshafts for racecars out of that.

    My only gripe with this sprayer is the carbon fiber wand. Mine came cracked on one end and was leaking everywhere. I solved it pretty easily by cutting it down by around 4 inches, but now I’m left with a shorter wand. A metal wand would hav been better in my opinion.

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před 5 měsíci

      Yeah. fortunately the wand can be replaced or upgraded to the metal wand.

    Would the toggle switch be easy to reach will wearing the sprayer? Also, is the sprayer pretty quiet? Some backpack sprayers are not necessarily loud, but just something I was curious about.

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před 2 lety

      You can reach it while you're wearing it but it's not the easiest but it's not super hard to reach either. I'd say this sprayer is relatively quiet compared to several other sprayers I have tried. If you've used the Sprays Plus Sprayers, I'd say it close to that noise level, maybe slightly louder. Thank you for watching and for your support!

    I have the cyclone and the only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't get everything out of the chamber. Pump starts cycling once it gets down to about ¼ of a gal and stops spraying. Have you noticed that with this one?

    • @johnnelwhite
      @johnnelwhite Před rokem +1

      I to have the cyclone and what I do when I hear the pump start to cycle is take one strap off my back so the tank is kinda tilted to the side with the pickup tube at the bottom facing the lowest. It allows me to get all the liquid out.

      @@johnnelwhite thanks

    • @TheLawnGuardian
      @TheLawnGuardian  Před rokem +1

      I think the cyclone is a bit different because the pick up for this sprayer is in the middle in the bottom of the tank. It has always emptied out pretty much everything. There is maybe a few ounces left after spraying.

      You're correct. They're my own words though. I started doing this more with my videos because it helps me be more concise with my words. Additionally, it also helps me make and edit videos faster, and with 4 kids this is important. Thanks for watching!
