- If you missed last weeks vlog, I spent the day exploring the city of Bilbao, visiting all of the main attractions in Bilbao (Watch that vlog here: • A day in BILBAO, Spain... ).. So for my second day in Bilbao I headed towards the coast to town of Getxo. Getxo is a beautiful fisherman's village and home to the world's first transporter bridge which is still in use to this day!

It was good that you took the wrong metro line and ended up in Portugalete. Its old medieval town is very nice and the view of the bridge and Getxo from that side is spectacular. I love your video and enjoy the way you communicate. Keep travelling. It is good to open up minds.

Great Vlog Millie, I have so many places to visit on my bucket list.... so many (thanks to you) LOL. Bilbao looks amazing, moving it up the list ! In my early 20's I travelled so much around Europe, Israel and other places, spent 16 months travelling and working overseas at that time - a nomad before it came in fashion....I always travelled solo... I loved it. You will get to enjoy it more and more. Also nice to travel with someone of course, but actually, sometimes I prefer to travel alone ! Another place that I never heard of before, but it looks so lovely! I've never seen a hanging gondola like that. How unique! Oh, I wanted to see your Vietnam adventures but understand trying to niche down. I look forward to seeing more of your solo adventures!

Do you speak Spanish? Or maybe some Basque/Euskara? I'd love to go there but can only pick up a word or brief sentence, occasionally, in Spanish. If you speak neither in curious if you feel the lack of knowing the language caused anyone you came across to treat to poorly? I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask
Hey! Yes I do speak Spanish which helped, but a lot of people also speak English so I wouldn't worry too much, definitely don't let it stop you from going! :)
