I am a little scared of dropping the bell almost straight down, won’t that tug the arm much harder than when you catch with a bigger arc? (Catching a little higher and getting more of a horizontal movement)…With snatches it’s even more dramatic. I like the zipper cue though, will try it! Thanks
Awesome tip. Cleans are my nemesis and I want to get better at them.
I like when it is explained the exact technique cos is more important that the excercises themselves
Great video as always instantly improved my double clean cheers
Thanks I will try today.
Thanks
To what extent do you use a shoulder shrug, like you would with a barbell clean? Or do you shrug at all with a KB?
No shrug whatsoever with Kettlebells. We use ANTI-SHRUG to keep the Lats tight and PROTECT the shoulders
@@HardstyleKettlebellPro ah, ok. Thank you! 😊

No tug at all if your Lats are engaged and you anti shrug the shoulders.
@@HardstyleKettlebellPro Appreciated :)
Then what is wrong with the wrong technique? Injury risk? Esthetics? Suboptimal performance in a competition?
Not as optimal and could potentially cause injury
