What if Yoda trained Anakin Skywalker and was betrayed? Let's explore the depths of it in this video
Even from his childhood, Anakin showed signs of being the chosen one. It was why Jedi like Qui-Gon-Jin took such an interest in him. But while the evidence was there, the Jedi failed to take the right action and it took Qui-Gon dying before they allowed Anakin to join the order. Even then, they placed Anakin under the watch of Obi-Wan, an inexperienced Jedi instead of someone more accomplished. This raises the question, of what would have happened if Yoda took the responsibility for himself.

The story begins shortly after the funeral of Qui-Gon-Jin. His former padawan, Obi-Wan had just finished his impassioned speech about how he wished to train Anakin to fulfill his master's dying wish.
The Jedi Council listens to this testimony in silence, letting the words sink in. All of them knew that while Qui-Gon was unconventional, he was also brilliant and accomplished.
Yoda is the first to break the silence.
Yoda: Right you are, young one. Powerful this boy is and the great potential he possesses. But lacking experience you are.
Obi-Wan: I-I don’t understand. What will happen to Anakin?
Yoda: Take this responsibility I will, in training the boy.
Obi-Wan nods and steps back. Although his pride took a blow, he was pleased to see the council taking the situation seriously. In truth, it was a relief, training Anakin was a daunting task that he was not sure if he could handle it.
But the blows to the Jedi Order did not end there. Shortly after Qui-Gon’s death, the Jedi would lose one of their best as Count Dooku would voluntarily leave the order. This last departure was particularly embarrassing to Yoda who had been his former master. He knew that Dooku was having doubts about the Jedi and blamed himself for it, believing he had been negligent in allowing his apprentice to fall to the dark side.
He vowed not to make that same mistake with Anakin.
Shortly after the meeting, Yoda would visit the boy in his room and explain that he was to be Anakin’s new master. This confused the boy, but he was intrigued by the idea. He’s heard the other younglings boast that Yoda is the wisest of the Jedi, who was capable of doing things with the Force that other Jedi could only dream of.
For the boy who had only seen the Jedi use the Force a handful of times, even the youngling's power took his breath away. If he could learn from the best, then there was no telling what he could accomplish.
Anakin: So, you’re the leader of the Jedi? That means you can help free my mom! She’s a slave on Tatooine and Qui-Gon never got a chance to free her!
Yoda gives Anakin a sad shake of his head and a sympathetic look.
Yoda: Do this, I cannot. Interfere with such affairs the Jedi do not.
The grand master sat Anakin down and explained the complexities of Galactic Jurisdiction and how the Jedi had little influence in the Outer Rim. He said that their duty was to maintain the sanctity of the Order. To Anakin though, all he understood was that Yoda wouldn’t help him.
As they sat there, he didn’t see Yoda as some powerful Jedi, but just another politician bound to the whims of politics and bureaucracy. Anakin did not back down. He threatened to leave if the Jedi wouldn’t do something.
For Yoda, he saw the same troubling signs as with Dooku. Anakin was already older than most boys and had developed habits unsuited for the Jedi. His attachment to his mother, while understandable will cause problems if unchecked. If he was going to have any chance of making him a Jedi, those would need to be quashed.
With a deep sigh, Yoda said.
Yoda: Very well, help you I will. But afterward, dedicate yourself to your training, you must.
Anakin: I will.
True to his word, Yoda has someone on Tatooine to buy Shmi’s freedom, allowing her to settle on a quiet farm. Once that is done, he begins his training with Anakin. Recognizing the immense potential within the young Jedi, Yoda resolves to impart upon him the wisdom and skills necessary to fulfill his destiny.
Their training sessions are grueling and intense, stretching from the break of dawn well into the depths of night. Yoda pushes Anakin to his limits, challenging him to master every aspect of the Jedi arts - from lightsaber combat to channeling the Force.
Drawing upon his own experiences and the lessons learned from his past struggles with Dooku, Yoda tailors Anakin's training regimen to ensure he cannot be corrupted by the Dark Side. He teaches the young Jedi various lightsaber forms, emphasizing Form 4 which focuses on defending against lightsaber - Zábava
I like that Anakin used force judgement instead of force lightning while fighting yoda and obiwan, because it shows both the extent of his training and control as a Jedi under Yoda, as well as his restraint and care not to hurt the two of them.
I like the idea of anakin being an egineer if he was with the CIS. I feel like aside from phantom menace, his tech savvy skills were not used as much as they should have.
100% agree, they made him a great pilot because of it but it could've been expanded more. Too much detail to fit into 2 movies I suppose haha we need an extended version like lord of the rings has
@@DarthTheorist I think I’ve heard people asking for the SuperCut of revenge of the Sith. Then again, you can almost get the same thing by reading the Matthew Stover mobilization of revenge of the Sith. And the version of attack the clones novel by Salvatore has an extra details as well.
This could go either way, leaving it as it is or adding it. But is it possible that showing Anakin mechanical adeptness in episode two with contrast more with him not being able to save his mother. He talks about being good at fixing things. Maybe showing him being good at fixing mechanical things, but not being able to save his mother, could make for a more poignant contrast. As it is, we do have that scene with him in the garage anyway.
About to watch this video now, which I’ve been avoiding for fear of a Darkside ending, which I tend not to be a fan of.
Master Yoda would never step down from power unless his guilty conscience sweeps him away.

This is some SOLID voice acting. Aside from Dooku (who can come close to the great Christopher Lee after all) everyone sounds like a great impression of the characters.

That slave line hits different. If you really think about it, Anakin had been a slave all his life. He wasn't simply one because he was born in it. He was a slave all his life, even as a Jedi and a Sith. But in the end, it took the love of his son (and the love he had for his son) for Anakin to see he was truly free.
As a Jedi, all his needs were met, and he had a duty, but he could leave any time he wanted. Thats not slavery

If you did this story as a proper cartoon or movie I would definitely support it. This is one of the best alternative stories I've heard or seen on You Tube

A small point though. When you killed off Darth Sidious I was very surprised. I feel like he would have put up much more of a fight. The shackles he had on in that chair wouldn't have stopped him at all. Anakin opened them up pretty easily in the movie.
But the rest was great!

Yes, good catch! Form IV was also master yoda's preferred form and in cannon, Anakin actually adapted Form IV to be more defensive 🙂

Good story. But it still fails after Dooku loses his hands. He can still use Sith Lightning without hands. The pain and anger from loses his hand could fuel it more.

Darth Throrist i was wondering. Could you pretty please do a What If Darth Sidious Found and started to Train Anakin before the Jedi found him? (Perhaps almost even from brith).
This all behind Darth Plagiuse's & Darth Maul's backs. Making sure that he is trained to be as poweful and as dark as he could ever be. With his name in this case being Darth Ultimus. The final Sith Lord of the Bane Knight Line. The one to end The Rule of 2 Once he killed his master Emperor Darth Sidious. Become the new Emperor. Emperor Darth Ultimus. And forming The Rule of 1. So basicly the most ultimate and complete triumph of the Dark Side possible.

Obi Wan went from Padawan to Anakin's master the same day. He probably had little to no experience as a teacher
I don’t know if you know much of kotor. But could you do a what if the Old Republic had a droid uprising, while also at war with Dath Malak’s Sith empire? Or something similar. I would also like to see your take on What if the Sith Empire invaded the Republic during the Clone wars. (You could do something similar to PPSW with all/most of the Old Republic Sith somehow invading) Or, maybe what if the Sith Empire invaded Palplatine’s Empire.

Anakin turning for the dark side for this reason makes more sense because of his want to help the greater galaxy and to be enabled with his piloting, mechanical, and warrior skills him making conditions for Padme And Obi Wan to not be harmed makes lots of sense those are the two plus him wanting to free slaves in general yeah.
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories.
Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself.
What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder.
What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia.
What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance.
What if oppo rancis trained anakin.
What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death.
What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings.
What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin.
Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.

What if Rahm Kota trained Anikin? What if Chewbacca was born a jedi?
So he was a dark Jedi? Or a gray Sith? Is the ladder even possible? He doesn’t seem to be as evil as other dark Jedi.
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use technoguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.
I feel like the CIS should have won after Duku and Anakin killed Sideous and the jedi council to create a new Order one that uses both the Darkside and the lightside of The Force.

No no no! It was going so well. I can't picture Dooku just outright saying "Palpatine is the Sith, let's talk" and the Jedi not at least TRYING to talk. That's just too out of character.
the clone wars were not a way to weaken both sides Palpatine had at that point complete control over the separatists. but he could not gain complete control of the starwars univere with just his control of the separatists alone. . so he used them to start a war after revealing the Sith to trick the Jedi into starting a war using clone soldiers he had made in secret, that the Jedi thought were made by a fellow Jedi so the jdei fought the war using palptines clones untill the had a foot on ever planet, then once he had all the clones in place like monaply peices palpatine took complete contoll over the glaxey with a single order. order 66. and instead of fighting the jedi head on he used the war to kill them with order 66.. Palpatine always knew that Anakin was the chosen one because him and his master tried to manipulate the force to creat life. so even if Yoda trained him anakin would have never joined Duku the only reason he sided with Palpatine in rots is because Palpatine made him think that Palpatine could help bring back padme back to life. even trained by Yoda Anakin would have either stayed with the jedi and worked to fix it from within or Palpatine would have done things to manipulate anakin to the darkside like he did in the movies..or even with the republic being corruprt anakin never would have joined the sepertists. if anything he would have took over and ruled to bring true peace and end the corruption just like he wanted to do with padme before he force choked her
The same thing would have happened but he would have been an even more powerful version of Vader. The biggest problem with Ani wasn't that he turned. He was always going to turn because of the rigidity and stagnant behavior the Jedi Order of the time chose to follow. The only two mainstream jedi that could have helped Anakin were Quigon or his own son Luke in the legacy series. Two jedi that didn't deal in absolutes. The jedi of Yoda's hayday were their own problem
