If your are asking about the 'Chris Parsons' character, then no. He was played by Vincent Franklin. This Chris is played by Gregory Doran.

This is absolute tripe they have tried to imitate USA style sitcoms (Cheers for example) and have failed miserably. The USA sitcoms were lively with funny wisecracks this however is so wooden, awful jokes and it is beyond boring.
