And Fox started out making some good points and a reasonable argument. But then he reminded us he’s the worst.

Fox doesn't need to hear this, he's a trained professional...
Screw you
Damn
Rex and cody vibing at the black mesa research facilaty
But Rex is a highly trained professional.
What a crossover
"You're still mad at me for that?"
Yes, Fox. Yes we are.
Well done Rex, that’s what he gets
Legend says that if you walk past the 501st barracks you can still hear Fox’s muffled screams…
Good soldiers follow orders
"oh come on... SOMEONE CALL GENERAL SKYWALKER REX IS FIGHTING FOX AGAIN"
Capt. Rex is climbing up the ladder, he’s climbing up the ladder oh God!
Even if Fox stunned him Palpatine was gonna kill him anyway for knowing to much about order 66
Palpatine needed Fives to die while on the loose. The Jedi were very interested in what he had to say and if Fives had been murdered after being caught it would've drawn far more attention than Palpatine would've liked, especially since Fives told Anakin and Rex that the chancellor was gonna try to kill him
@@gerstein03 The jedi except Anakin showed no interest in him after he became a fugitive and Palpatine would make it look like he committed suicide.
Funnily enough, Rex did fight crosshair over Echo
Fox is my favorite clone trooper. Bro's loyal, skilled, badass, and has one if the most difficult and thankless jobs in existence. He deserved so much better.
Is it just me or does anyone else think Vader enjoyed killing Fox
"It wasn't my fault Rex. I had shoot to kill orders."
Rex: "Who?!"
Fox: "The chancellor."
Rex: "Fair."
No I just was not gonna risk myself or any one of my fellow troopers in red trying to mess with stun, since it does not always work.
*Allow me to introduce myself Fox*
Yeah, get him General
"You take that back!"
NUH UH
In a Alternative universe “Rex ya killed my best bud Thire!”
Good soldiers follow orders but even better ones never turn on their brothers….. ✊😔
except if he’s Commander Fox.

The galaxy was doomed the moment Fox shot fives.
Rex calling Fox a bitch caught me off guard lmao
Fox: "Make me"
Anakin: "Say less"
What?

both are pretty common phrases
God I love how flawless your clone voice is.
Here’s an idea.
The clones flying with Plo Koon have a weird conversation with him about something stupid. And then Order 66 happens.
I think everyone needed to hear rex say this
Everyone needed to hear Fox say this, too.
Red vs Blue
"Did you ever wonder why were here?".
@@Vargas.B it's one of life's great mysteries isn't it?
The start of TF2(That rhymes!)
I was expecting to hear a blaster shot at the end when the screen went black, but hearing Rex beat up Fox was funny too :D
Bold of you to assume Fox is the one getting beaten up here. Both men here have the same voice so how can you tell which is which? 😉
no one really liked the Coruscant Guards to begin with, other clones seeing them as arrogant S.O.B's
I love the shock troopers…
Fox literally tugged his legion down with him.
its less about brothers fighting now but two complete strangers who dont even know each other. like Fox aint even one
To be fair to fox here, he was being lenient as hell until he literally couldn't. As far as he knew, he had a general and a captain hostage and a gun pointed at him and his men. Not to mention that the clones sure as hell weren't trained in situational defusal anything. So he did try in the limited capacity he had, but.... Yeah...
You're totally right
nope. anakin told fox to tell everyone to put there guns to stun to caputre 5's. so fuck Fox excuess. he was probably sent by palb to kill him
@@wrathslaughter652 Fox wanted to protect his men and himself, so it's normal that he was afraid and that he fired, forgetting to put his blaster to stun. It was self-defense.
@Crosshair-CT-9904 fox is very forgetful. Which is why he is dead via light Saber. And as for 5's fox shot him first. Sure 5's went for his gun and was under the influence thanks to the kaminoens( can't spell it right to save my life), but deadly force was not necessary. Rex and anakin were in a force field cage. I don't think 5's could have shot them while in there, nor did he have a reason to do so. Even tho we didn't see the order given, I think fox was told to silence him. At the end of the day fox killed one of his brothers and didn't even hesitate.
Fox gave Fives multiple warnings and opportunities to stand down, only firing on Fives after he had already pointed a gun at Fox and his men.
According to what Fox knows, he has a rogue/mentally-compromised ARC trooper who attempted to kill the chancellor, fled arrest, and then took his captain and general hostage. I can easily see lethal force being authorized in this situation. So when Fives points the gun at the Coruscant Guard, Fox doesn't take the time to switch blaster settings because the difference of a fraction of a second could save the lives of one of his men or himself, and because this is a lethal-force type situation.
If Fox had actually wanted to kill Fives or had been ordered to do so, there was no reason for him to tell Fives to stand down and get on his knees. He could have shot him the second he walked into the warehouse. Palpatine has plenty of opportunities to get rid of Fives after he's brought in, so there's no conflict here between his motivations and Fives surviving the encounter with Fox.
It's fucked up, but the only ones to blame here are Palpatine and Kaminoans like Nala Se.
As we wotnessed in many cases, stun doesn't always work and doesn't always incapatitate the target from 1 shot, especially if they are drugged. Even in real life tazers never work 100% of the time, I think even a real MP officer would justify Fox.
I'm not an MP but I was previously an infantryman in the USMC and deployed to Afghanistan 10 years ago, I completely can get behind what Fox decided to do. When you're in that situation when someone points a lethal weapon at you your reaction isn't something you think about. You're conditioned to immediately engage the threat and take it out as soon as you can. The only thing that was unrealistic about that scene was Fox allowing Fives to pick up that pistol. In a real-world scenario, we would have dropped fives the second he made a sudden movement towards the weapon.
That's the thing, memes aside I really can't blame Fox. I really can't. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to be mad at him. Poor Fives...
Fives is a god damn hero
Fives was a tragic Hero.
However, Fox is the tragic villain that everyone loves to hate. He didn't ask to be the man to kill Fives, but he was the one who did so.
Fox was the Villain we didn't need, but he was the villain we deserved.
Fox isn't a villain he told fives not to grab the gun but he did it anyway
Now this makes me want fox as a villain. Villainous clones might just go hard as Fuck if done well.
Fox: Make me, Bi**h
Rex: *Proceeds to Jump Fox*
Me: Fox Deserves it lol
If you think about it... Fox is sort of right.
Red vs blue clones
Rex is just Fox with an E!
Wait what does this mean?
Funny that no one ever brings up the stun argument for Denal when he confronted Bane or Wolfe who he specific orders to detain Ahsoka and instead of getting the jump on her, resorted to giving away the element of surprise much like Fox did.
"It was in the heat of the moment"
You knew you were going after a fellow Clone
Your blaster should have already been set to stun before you got there
His probably was
Fox had a stun option, but chose to shoot his own brother...
Fives had armor on, and a blaster that WASNT on stun, it might’ve taken 2-3 stuns to put him down, while it could easily take one shot from him to kill fox or another clone
Fox kinda sucked, but that's because his job was horrible. He followed his orders and did what any good MP would do. No one likes the MPs but the fact of the matter is that they don't mess around. Fox followed his orders and did what any trained officer would do, especially when a drugged suspect goes for a pistol
Thank you!
It could've been on stun before he even entered the f*cking building.
Honestly, I think Fox would get his ass, handed to him by Rex, who has been in the field much longer, and is speculated to be one of the last generation of clones to be trained by Jango Fett himself. Plus, Rex is very very similar to a true Mandalorian look at his helmet’s Mandalorian markings as proof plus Rex chooses to fight very similarly to Jango Fett’s style. Shame we haven’t seen much of Rex’s skills in close quarters combat.
This is canon
In Canon he gets Force choked by Vader.
@@tk-6967yea thats how he dies, not how rex takes personally to fives’s death

As bad as it was that Fives died, Fox had a point. Fives had a gun on him and refused to surrender after being ordered to. Also I really hate to be that guy but I don't know if Rex would take Fox that easily in a fist fight(even if I would like that).
Problem is, he was actually ordered to kill Fives by the emperor
I have both of these helmets in my clone helmet collection

They weren’t Fives.
He didn’t know them and maybe he didn’t have time to set it to stun
@CaptainRexLeaderOfThe501st the 332nd were comprised of seasoned vets. Rex knew every one of them. Also if you're going by the logic of Rex not having enough time to set to stun then Fox didn't either, don't give me those double standards you hypocrite

It's not Fox's fault that Five is dead, it was Palpatine who gave him the order, and I also suspect the inhibitor chip. I hate the way people behave towards Fox, he is a good soldier he deserves so much better. Regardless, Fox will always be my favorite commander and I wish people would think a little before saying things, because Fox is not only the soldier who killed Five, he is also a loyal person and dedicated that the other clones should admire

There’s at least a good 8 other clones I know who were about as special as Fives is.
Like Uno, and Quad, and Crazy-8, and Nines and the rest of the clones with 4 of the same digit in their CT-number.
My guy just did his job, even gave Fives warnings to stand down, if it wasn’t him people would just be bitching about Thire or some other high ranking trooper
Your point is weird. Of course, they would be upset about thire or whoever if it was different. If I did what Hitler did in place of him, no one would be annoyed at Hitler, would they. In this case no one would care about fox
@henrybartram9854 As a Jewish man, I'm offended. You compared the Holocaust to what Fox did
My point is he was doing his job and gave multiple warnings to prevent what happened. People act as if Fox had this vendetta and shot Fives when literally any high ranking member of the guard would’ve done the same thing, except they might not have given a warning. I don’t think your Hitler comparison is really 1:1 with the point since that’s an entirely different can of worms.
@reebonorton4175 I apologise, I should have used a less extreme example. I will try something else next time. If you want, I can delete these.
Honestly i can't understand the hate for Fox either when Likeable characters like Ventress and Grievous exist and they also slaughtered a group of clones too
Deadass
@@deltasquad8817 i mean you know many other characters killed clones, even Barriss before in season 2 was forced to kill one while they were possesed by a worm
@riley-dv8eu krell with his treachery and the senate as well
I think the hate is because of *who* he killed on top of the "should've set the blaster to stun," rather than how many others killed. Besides with Grievous he's a villain who's typically liked because he's *supposed* to be a badass cyborg who kills Jedi for sport.
Bc they were supposed to kill clones not Fox and he could've set his blaster to stun its not hard that is bs it being in the moment its not like how we put our weapons on safe its a much easier method

We mostly hate fox because we know the future…even though we know we can’t change what we know will happen, Fives was the best shot at it

We are all mad at Fox for Fives death
Fox deserved what he got from vader in the comics. Change my mind
Fives had no reason to stay alive💀💀
Fox was seemingly doing the republic a service by getting rid of this crazed and volatile clone, who literally tried to kill the chancellor, and then kidnapped two army staff
Even though Fox has some solid points, I still think it's a criminal that he ended up having Fives blasted.
Good soldiers follow orders. Fox was a good soldier.
I swear did all of you take a bathroom break during the scene where Fox literally says the orders were shoot to kill
I'm kinda with Fox on this one Fives had taken two Jedi generals hostage and a captain and ontop of that he pulled a weapon on the coruscant guard despite having multiple warnings not to
Stun gun tho
@@RealXylon in the heat of the moment there was no time to switch to stun

@@RealXylonrex didn't use stun on those 3 clones he killed during order 66 the moment he got his chip removed now did he?
I love how nobody talks about how the situation was only kill or be killed because Fox made it that way. I mean Fives was unstable and had hostages. Charging in guns drawn and shouting is the literal worst thing you can do in that situation. What if Fives had a dead man switch that would've blown up the entire building? What if Fives was quicker on the draw and shot someone? Had Fox not gone in the way he did, there would have been no risk. The way he handled the situation guaranteed that at least one person was gonna die. In EMT school they teach us a lot about dealing with patients with altered mental status. I bet if I showed the scene with Fives' death to my professor he'd confirm that this is the worst way possible to handle someone with altered mental status
My theory is fox was in on order 66 and was trying to kill fives to keep him from spilling the beans. The way it’s played off by him and palps suggests to me that was the case
keep in mind Fox was probably told to kill him by the chancellor. Fox was just following orders at that point.
@@Doc51499 If that were true why didn't he shoot Fives the second he saw him.
@@goldenretrieversarethebest8119 But he tried to capture him not kill him so if that were the case he disobeyed Palpatine's order.
Patient? He's not a patient! He's a rogue arc trooper that is holding a jedi general and clone captain hostages and attacked and tried to kill the beloved head of state. The same man Fox directly serves under. Fox already listened in on Fives conversation with Rex and Anakin and deduced from it he was beyond talking to so did the only thing he could do. Apprehend him as quickly as possible before he does anymore harm.
So this is what happened after Fives' death
I think Fox got some quiet order from Palpatine to eleminate the leak of info about order 66, that Fives was.
Most likely yes. And I wonder how much Fox character was determined by the fact he was constantly next to Palpatine who could influence his mind either throw the force or simply by picking up correct words. That being said, from the very beginning Fox already has being somewhat bitchy, but killing his own brother is level 90 of being a bitch.
@@ReasonX3 I think the chip in Fox's head also played some role.
0:43 no the fuck he wouldn’t. He fought slick and won that non-lethally, he was tricked into killing his own brothers in the 212th. Rex would never willing put down a clone

@@lazarpetrovic1671 yes but that was IMMEDIATELY after brain surgery. I wouldn’t blame him as that was more instinctive reflex than conscious thought. He then started using stun rounds
