    One of the best serves in the game for a guy of his height. I don't think you can find many 6 feet players serving like this.

    Ignore yet sold on rhe Alcaraz serve. He hits some incredible patches, but overall he doesn't produce consistently. Good thing he can do everything right. The guy is just starting.

      @@jm_1214 I've noticed that he tightens up when stressed. I feel that affects his serving.

    Carlos is not a serve bot but the serve alone does not win slams or titles... the complete package (which he is) does. Ask Hubie who hit over 1000 aces last year has never won a slam (I don't see him getting close either) and was on standby for the ATP finals. Thanks again Raz. 👍

    he is capable of serving in the 135-141 mph range and hitting his spots. however its a question of consistency and its also a process of improvement. there is no need to serve this big as long as he hits his spots. i wanted to mention he was trying to go go big in the ATP finals because he wasn't used to the speed of the surface, but i have no doubt it was a valuable learning experience and he will be ready the next time around. he learns and adapts

    Oddly enough, Alcaraz's service preparation resembles that of Pat Rafter.

    His serve is great but it's not his strongest skill that's the overall debate. The good news is that he has so many wonderful skills. His forehand, return and movement are one of the best on tour right next to Sinner and Djokovic. When he wins a tournament it means that his serve is working but it could also be the difference when he plays a top player playing and serving well and he is having a bad serving day.

    His serve is his weakness. Come on. Every other shot he scores 11/10 but for serve it's 7/10.
    His serve is weak as in Rafa's serve is weak. You comparing it to the best of the best

      Rafa height 6'1 his only 5'11 , carlos has worst serve because of height

    • @vertexx6093
      @vertexx6093 Před měsícem +1

      Carlos is 1.83m tall, hence 6ft or 6.05ft tall. It's not that his serve is bad, but he can't hit consistently yet. He's capable of hitting big but misses quite a bit. Once that consistency toughens up with experience, he'll have a good serve. Obviously won't be Zverev's or Hurkacz' level but it'll be good@@raghumanda2tanush496

  • @raghumanda2tanush496
    @raghumanda2tanush496 Před měsícem

    First serve percentage and first serve win percentage are more important than aces , his height is just 5'11,he is worst server among top 10 players after rune, this serve problem will cost him so much because of many tall players in this era 😢

    You must be a Spaniard Nadal and Alcaraz fan... Nadal always had the WORST serve among the top 100 in the ATP, no speed, no placement.
    Alcaraz has the worst serve among the top 50 players, only worse might be Schwartzman serve (another spaniard clay courter no surprise......)
    Alcaraz only win due to his good physique product of probaly stero ids, his physique is not normal at age 20, although in 4 to 5 years his body will be destroyed like happened with Nadal.
