Yep ryan air did the same to us 30 minutes in a corridor at Manchester airport and they have just changed our flights for next year not by a few hours but a few days. Take the money and then change the flight great. Thats my rant for the day glad to hear your legendary rants are still full on. Keep it up.

I,m a 70yr old female lone traveller. I love the Canaries and have been going for decades.I always go self catering as you get more space and the option to cook. Self catering used to be cheaper than a hotel, now its the other way around. I never eat out as I was sick of paying through the nose for a very average type meal. As I go so often I cannot afford to eat and drink out anyway, very much, so I was really upset to see an article about cheapskate holiday makers not being welcome in tha Canaries. I spend alot in the supermarkets and often buy dresses and things. Very sad situation, and the price has risen by double from the last time I went, which was only in January and February of this year. I spent 6 weeks in Costa Teguise and loved it, don't think I will be able to afford it next year though. Oh well, things change !

You're a few years late with your rant about self-service checkouts Dave, one of the supermarket chains (Booth's) is getting rid of them. Everybody I know hates them! There's still something like 2 Million in the UK who don't even have a bank account. I won't use card-only businesses, what happened to the days when you got a discount for cash? As for the Tube, a lot of time, the 'tap out' doesn't work, they're making thousands because of it. Good move on taking Jack with you, hopefully he knows how lucky he is to live in Lanzarote. I need to go to London to visit an old mate, but the train service from the North is so bad, it's easier to go to the Canaries! 😁

Yes its amazing and the new Barcelo Papagayo is nice
The Princess is a bit dated but excellent grub, far enough away to be quiet yet a short beachside walk into the main commercial area.Last visited 5 years ago and I believe there's been some development since then .
No they have never charged me to use the toilets. Always go into bars or restaurants. Had no problems.

TUI total let down tbh, flights fine only 15kg compared to Jet2 22kg no helpline only a stupid chat bot thing booking with Jet2 again for April Price difference depending on day that you book Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon will get you a better price than looking on Monday morning or Friday afternoon so give it a go that’s my little tip and book ahead 🤗
