James is the kind of guy that if he had a time machine, he would watch lost films when they were in theaters
I would too
who wouldn't do that
I would watch London after midnight
I would do that
You would do that
Everyone would do that
Your mom would do that
Phil swift would do that
The bug outside your window would do that
I would do that too.
The one that started it all.
These always made October even better.
This is my favorite month mainly due to Monster Madness.
James Henderson But what's with the still shots?
I ❤ monster madness downgrade version.
Camp Cult is when it became amazing. Almost every day of the month I learned about a new completely shitty yet awesome movie to check out.
happy 666 likes
These videos taught me so much about horror when I was in middle school.
Max Marriner same
Same here man.
Time is terrifying.
Sad universal studios couldn't even capture a bit of the greatness that made the original universal monsters films great and instead made films that wish they were the original films.
Max Marriner 21 now i know exactly what you mean.. I cant give this guy up.. Fan since 2007 ✊
I just love to hear James talk about whatever he's passionate about.
Same here, I rly enjoy listening to Cinemassacre compilations when I’m doing a task. James’ pure fascination and love for retro horror is incredibly engaging
As I get older I find myself more drawn to the content that is the real James, either on his own or with his friends, just talking about movies, games etc. I still love AVGN but the videos with him not playing a character stick with me more nowadays.
Agreed!
He could explain to me how to breathe, and I'd enjoy it
Have you ever seen a movie called “the house”?
James has been to Millenials what Forry Ackerman was to Baby Boomers and Joe Dante was to Generation X. He has gotten an entire generation interested in what came before them.
James sure does share my appetite for movies
Completely false
@@karanvirkooner1993 same here
@@jojoface4940 care to elaborate on that?
Little bit of Gen Z too :)
I'd argue that Bubba Ho-Tep was an important movie, because it proved that indie horror was still artistically and commercially viable in the US.
It was also excellent. I didn't expect a very emotional film about aging and the feeling of being useless and obsolete.
Dude i love that movie.Itès hilarious
Lol no
That little piece of Clint Eastwood trivia was awesome!
Holy cow, That's a miracle, I like when you make combine videos just like this, Thank you James
October isn't October without Monster Madness :)
You can't spell Halloween without Cinemassacre.
Life isn't life without James Rolfe. Seriously, I love this guy, hes the friend I never had growing up.
I literally cannot go an October without Monster Madness
Preach
@jarjarfun guy Oh, I'll rewatch the reruns. So as long as Cinemassacre keeps them available there will be a Monster Madness.
Special kudos for listing 'The Last Broadcast' - often shamefully ignored and criminally underrated to this day! Great History all round, thank you, Cinemassacre!
James, the beginning of your Monster Madness is the BIG reason why I love horror movies today! THANK YOU! :D
Thanks James for putting all these videos together. It is both a great history lesson in horror films and genuinely fun to remember all the fun times as a kid growing up watching these films.
This is a great compilation. I love the Monster Madness series, it's so much fun to revisit these old movies in a series that is now, itself, long running. Like most of these movies, these reviews really hold up.
I'm glad you mentioned Slither among the pile, that movie is awesome!
Agreed!
Those pictures of Dracula from Nosferatu were legitimately chilling.
Bram Strokers Dracula 1 of the best parts
When I was a kid I was terrified of him.
Wait…so that wasn’t from SpongeBob?
I don't care if this isn't new, it's still clever and revolutionary and pretty nice to have these condensced into time because, mostly I don't have time to replay each one. Amazing work, James!
"I cant think of anything more terrifying than having a living creature inside you, waiting to burst out"
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYBODY!!!
Thank you so much James for posting this! It's now super easy to watch this Monster Madness.
I love how much he cares about the genre. It's really quite endearing.
No it isn't
@@jojoface4940 also he should review Goosebumps movies
@@jojoface4940 why are you here?
I remember watching all these movies with my dad as a kid. They still hold up very well. Very entertaining!
Nothing says October like Monster Madness! It's a tradition for me. :) Keep up the good work guys.
Damn I love Cinemassacre during the month of October. Too me it best describes James, movies, music and horror games! Thank you, I appreciate it.
The past hour felt like 15mn, flippin Monster Madness glory!!
Fucking best time of the year baby! Monster Madness needs a TV spot. I usually watch everything James recommends
"the angry Village People chasing the Monster..."
🎶
Daaaa da da
Da da da da da da da
Young man!🎶
Your commentary is both informative and at times hilarious. Good videos! You should narrate some classic actor documentaries.
Thank you for finally uploading the series. Just made my day.
as a big-time horror movie lover myself, this one is pure gold. thank you very much for all your dedication and hard work, james. will literally continue to watch every single video you put out. that uniqueness you have, which one can't really put into words, in my opinion, is unmatched.
You can't expect less from a man who made Cinema and loves Horror Films, thank you James!
For years iv watched monster madness this is a great combo video,Thanks james your the man dude.
This makes me happy.
These reviews make October special. Thanks James!
One of the best videos on CZcams. Bravo! I really hope James treats us with another season of Monster Madness some year even if it isn't a yearly tradition like before.
Beautiful! These reviews changed my whole world way back when.
Same here in sure takes his time doing these ones
Unbelievable video. Your knowledge is mind blowing, and thank you for putting so much effort into making such a wonderful video!
So glad you're uploading these! I can't say enough how much I loved this series! Thanks so much for making it, James
There's a huge collection here of brilliant actors with historical significance. I loved watching these movies when I was younger and Vincent was definitely my favorite!
This is pure Gold !!! Keep kicking some serious ass, James!!!
Really gonna miss Monster Madness, but thanks James for given us these collections
This was great James, thanks for the hard work!
I really do enjoy these long reviews
Man, I really love the way you tell stuff, man. Great video.
Huh, some of these I wasn't even aware of. . . this has been a fascinating video. Thanks, James!
This is such a great retrospective. Amazing job, James
I love this one so much. Our family watched them all together every October and then we would watch all the films. We still watch all the great horror classics every October and will always love Cinemassacre from which we have learned so much.
I love this month. The best part of the year with all Monster Madness and everything Horror. You rock James! A+++
For someone who keeps watching these back to back in a playlist anyway, this is a great video. More please.
Thanx James. It's good to see them all together like this.
Good stuff as always.! Thanks for putting in the work.
Thank you so much for making this! I learned a lot!
Maybe I missed it in one of the cinemassacre reviews, but has James seen the 90s show "100 Years of Horror" ? It's a great show with Christopher Lee as the host.
Damn after watching the whole video now for this October I'm literally marathoning all these movies. Also the end made feel like giving James a good ol pat on the back for all his hard work. Thanks for reviewing all these movies!
Your commitment to this is amazing. Thanks for putting this together, you got alot of movies on my list.
Love these series of videos that you guys have done. Even though most I was aware of, there were still some information I didn't know. Hopefully you'll carry this on or add to it!!!
This is great! They’re all together. I love watching monster madness every October!
You are an absolutely brilliant reviewer!!! And the movies you choose are directly up my alley. I've known of AVGN since 2007 and love it because I grew up with those retro games. But for some reason I'm just now starting to discover the movie reviews. Its everything that I love about cinema, the films that you choose. Thank you!
I enjoyed watching all of these together like this. Thanks guys.
Monster madness!!!!! The one that started them all
I saw House of 1000 Corpses as more of a Horror movie than the Devils Rejects. It just had that classic horror movie setting of teenagers/young adults getting trapped in a house in the middle of no where.
Great work putting all of this together.
Truly enjoyed it 👍👍
These videos are super interesting and informative! Thanks James!
Great way to start my October! Thanks for your hard work and knowledge, it was a great rundown
Fantastic video man. You really know your stuff when it comes to horror movies. 😊
Old horror movies are such a treasure
I look forward to this every year! Watching the whole thing.
We love ❤️ Monster Madness James!!
It's something that reignited that Halloween feeling and the anticipation waiting for an episode to come out during October.
I want to say thank you. Not just for AVGN, or Board James...
But the massacre in Cinemassacre!
All the Horror films and shows you have covered.
So many it's absolutely ridiculous!
A selfish part of me never wants it to end, but i know it's a lot of tiring work. Thanks James! ❤️
More please, this is way more convinient than scrolling through the videos one by one
Phantasm is always overlooked 😟
I love Cinnemascre in October!!!
Excellent. Informative, fast and fun.
YES! Awesome. I've been hoping for a supercut like this for years. Any plans on doing this for other Monster Madness years?
My favourite time of the month, looking forward to your uploads :)
Finally October is upon us and is time for the madness... MONTER MADNESS! Thank you James these videos sparked my interest on horror movies and made my October more fun and exciting again.
This is so great to listen to at work. I've got so much to see!
I appreciate all the hard work you make on the videos you share..Thank You
This video was awesome, I'd love to see more like it James
surprised you didnt mention The Thing (or The Shining) at all... glad you mentioned Shawn of The Dead though :) the cornetto trilogy is my favorite
Shit, this was really good. Great list and commentary. Very informative.
BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!!!! THE GID THAT STARTED EVERYTHING THANK YOU CINEMASSCARE!
Remember as a kid falling asleep to Toonami? Or Midnight Run? I now fall asleep to these videos. I'm on a Monster Madness marathon and it's 3AM
I could watch Frankenstein for an entire year!
10 years
Wow I didn't know Kevin made Toccata too! Thanks for using his work and crediting him correctly. He's a gem, like Cinemassacre.
26:53 this quick change scared the shit out of me
Hey man, I never heard of you til recently, I pretty much watch your monster madness reviews over and over, every time I catch something new. Your totally awesome and I grew up in 80’s movies and love classic horror movies. I would love chat and pick your brains and discuss movies with you for hours. We agree on a lot, even some I disagree, but all together that’s what makes you a great personality to watch. Keep up the hard work and I definitely learn a lot from your reviews
“I can’t think of anything scarier than a living being growing inside you, just waiting to burst out”
Thanks James, my wife’s pregnant and I can’t get this image out of my head. Happy Halloween
This is pure gold!
Thanks for this video
This is a great video, I learned a lot. Thanks guys !

Weird... CZcams is currently down,no videos are playing for users, except for this one! You rock James!
I forgot about Monster Madness, what an amazing surprise this was! Thank you!
Excellent as always James
Thanks for uploading, James! :D
thanks James! The list is just sublime
Trivia - when Marty says ‘that’s right, you haven’t heard of him yet’ he points at the posters
I loved this!! thanx James. Halloween is near. getting my early fix.
Fantastic video. I'd love to see more like this
Thank you James for what you do. You will always be the golden standard for Game and Movie Reviews
You must have the lowest standards in the world
