Try to step and replace in the weave while still staying square. Cause if you crossing over you might trip yourself up but these some good drills fasho!

@Valencia Marion to me, I prefer defense. I like interceptions and hitting people. Making them fumble. It's just a lot funner on defense. But sometimes you can be on both offense and defense if you get lucky. Wide outs or reciever is pretty fun but I prefer safety. At least for me. If you want to loose weight, I recommend eating healthy and going to the gym, losing calories. Like me right now, I'm really skinny and short,not strong,really fast,can tackle but I'm trying to get better so I'm trying to go to the gym more often to get stronger, I also go outside to work on reps and work on my speed.

I also have a tackling dummy so I can work on tackling. Like this dude on this video, I rewatch his video to work on my footwork. So far he's gotten me better

So basically we have muscles called twitch muscles... fast twitch muscles are responsible for speed and agility. If you want to utilize and strengthen your twitch muscles you gotta do quick and explosive exercises. Like sprints, feet shuttles, quick explosive high jumps, leg hops... things lot that. Make sure your drills are quick and explosive.
A lot of nfl and college coaches will disagree on sum of this drills you did like crossing your feet will not be acceptable 4:07 as u see it there that’s what back peddling shuffling is for and a way to get better at shuffling is to do it constantly but slowly in a squat position and add weight a aggressive mean wr will eventually hit you off your guard with a silly move because of weaving as u demonstrate it you where crossing your feet that’s why you back-peddle shuffling and hip opening 3:15 never cross your feet
