Good video, That 'conduit' you mention I think is called wire loom, it was actually invented by General Motors, comes in various diameters.

That little boy Rusty is a keeper for sure. No stage fright at all. I clicked the link for the BMX Gull-Wings, but they were out of stock. I sure like them. At 67 and carrying my six lb. Chihuahua; the bars would make the carry better for both concerned. Wish I knew the places to shop; as you obviously do. My red X-Class arrives Monday. Your videos and editing time is appreciated.

Just ordered the AR 48V and can not wait! I made the decision largely based on your videos and a few others. The 48 isnt as good as the grizzly or the 52 but it looks like a solid frame to build on and is IN STOCK. Keep up the good work.

I use a air compressor and hose and I use a connected air nozzle pointed rubber tipped blow off air tool to remove and to put on the hand grips filling them from the open end of the hand grip with air as I slip them on or off.it takes a few seconds to slip them off or on to the handle bars..

Yep it comes with the rubber cover, but you wont need it. I've gone thru jumps and super bumpy terrain and it does not budge!!

What is the stock diameter of our bars? Want to find some bmx bars that I can just swap out without changing the adapter

They also make stem shims if you can't find the right bars.

Try to get Arial Rider to change the X handle bar to our BMX setup because the system is weak and can lead to serious injury it is dangerous
Alcohol helped you get the grips off and you used a hand lotion to get the grips back on, any special type of lotion?
Hairspray for getting grips off and on makes it so easy.

I am debating on doing this to my x-class. I find that the stock handlebars are in a perfect position when extended all the way up, however I notice that it always gets loose every 4 - 5 rides so I constantly have to tighten it. I had to take a sidewalk in Cleveland down a road I didn't feel comfortable riding on the actual road and when I hit a small bump the handlebars went down and rotated a bit.

@@RustyRoads hahaha! Thanks mate! Only twice have I ever nearly shit myself on the bike and this was certainly one of them. The other time is on that road that I now hop on the sidewalk, because cars don't know that they should share the road with bicyclists (nothing new) and rage out. Interesting that you haven't had this issue, now I am wondering if I am just not tightening it enough. Right then, off to the gym to work on my arms to tighten the my handlebars better.

Hey Mike! If I recall correctly, the included tool bag had everything you need for that.
It does not include the large hex key needed to remove the stem however.

I'm a complete noob to ebikes. I know this is going to sound like a dumb question. Shows how much I know about stems and handle bars. Could the original stem be turned 180 degrees to bring the handle bars closer to the rider? Is that a "no-no" as it may affect steering? Also is there a stem replacement that would add the extra couple inches rise for the original handle bar?

1 - Technically yes, but it can affect steering. Something you can get accustomed to, but will not be as responsive
2 - Yes, you can find stem extenders on Amazon

What's up Michael and Rusty. Trying to decide between the 48v or 52v. Have you noticed a big difference in range and speed between the two? Any thoughts?
So far only acceleration is different. Top speed and range seem similar but more testing is needed

With a $40-50 aftermarket shock, the 48 can have just as good of suspension as the 52. I love the way the 48s front shocks feel!
To some the difference is worth it because the instant acceleration is so much fun

Hey Tony! The cables and lines were just long enough thankfully. I did have to angle my brake levers down a bit more but it's actually more comfortable than before since I rotated the grips a bit as well.
You should be good to go with just the new bars, the 52 will come with better tires than what was stock on my 48s, and a much better rear shock. My fingers are still crossed hoping AR updates the headlight on the 52 though.

I like the cafe racer looks but I noticed on my old fatbike their alot more comfortable

Only downside is less room to attach accessories, and for some its uncomfortable. Both feel great to me fortunately

I haven't bought a bike yet. Have it narrowed to either the x class 52v or the Rize Blade 1000w. Just don't know if I want to wait for the Ariel.

That is a tough choice! I can vouch for ARs customer service, but dont know much about Rize. Would love to ride one !

@@RustyRoads No, I mentioned it in the comments on one of MegaDave's World videos. If you're not hip to him you should check out what he does with his Blade. I can't believe the way he punishes it and it keeps on going. I love the looks and power of the Ariel. The bars were another complaint of mine because it just doesn't look very comfortable, but you've seemed to have found the solution for that. I'd heard on other videos that the cables were too short to upgrade bars without having to extend the cables or tubes and wires. Glad to see it's not so complicated. I have a few weeks before I'll be ready to order. If Ariel didn't have such a wait it would be an easy decision.

At that price I could get out now and take the majority of the stuff off and upgrade bike. One problem...bounced it off Grand and she was devastated! How fast does urs go? I’m torn, I liked the cafe racer look better but I feel like BMX bars are going to save my back. These are by far the nicest BMX bars I’ve seen someone put on the X class though. Super bummed that we got delayed a month (anyone who ordered for the Feb 1 batch).

To be honest, I bought the D class just because of the handlebar position over the x class. ..
I have a Mario Rally duel hub motors 1500w with honey comb tire tread. Its fast its nice to ride. Only thing I wish it had was front and rear suspension.
Other than that cant really complain oops yes the Hydraulic brakes sound wack. Ill bring it in to see if something can be done.

Have you tried running like 10-12 psi to make up for lack of suspension ?

@@RustyRoads I know you can swape them and your bike definitely looks a lot better with the swap I was just saying that that's what has stopped me from wanting to get it because I don't really like the stock handlebars that comes with it

@@erikedward283 Cant argue with that! double motors is how all future ebikes should be configured.
I cant share much detail, but I do know that a well known ebike company will soon be releasing a front motor kit that works on any fat tire bike !!!!

Tbh it looks uglier than the original handle bar, might be more comfortable but the original is more sporty 💯
