@@emanueldustindrewespinoza2870 That was close! We found a star behind some of Jack Luke's Tech of The Month swag so here you go ⭐️ it's well deserved!
Think id actually agree, nice how u have stated the tcr also comes in rim brakes. A lot of reviews seem to miss this detail out... Think more focus needs to be out there rim brake bikes are far from dead. Its only the USA brands going full disc really. Giant, willier, bianchi all still make rim brake bikes...
No Italiano bikes? *insert sad face emoji*
Whatttttt You miss the Scott Addict RC...
All fantastic bikes, but that hasn't made me change my mind. I've ordered a Scott Addict RC.
I have it, and its perfect. Good choice:)
🤮
Yeah Scott's the best only thing is they don't spend on marketing so names not here
Scott, Cannondale, and ridley are my favorites!
Scott RC all the way!
So you're pretty confident 2021 is going to happen?
I say we vote to end 2020 now just to get over this screwed up year
@@johnnydoe66 I second that motion.
@man0z My response was a joke, because I know that this CV19 virus is not what we are being told. Corona is a common virus that is everywhere, but this particular version was manipulated in a lab for one reason.....To remove President Trump from office with no regard to this Nation. The CDC came out with new death percentages and the crooked WHO finally admitted that lockdowns were actually worse than the virus, but the media is still spinning the same lies
And the earth is flat
@@sergiplanas6427 no it's not, it's a dinosaur
I dont know why i watch these videos
I cant even buy the water bottles
hahahahaha
lol
You mean bottle cage?
"You can be well hydrated and aerodynamic at the same time. What a time to be alive." LOL
I going with the CAA13, orbea orca M30, allez sprint alloy, Gaint TCR and the system six . That is my pick and I can afford them.
The Orbeo Orca is beautiful
Just bought tcr sl 2021, great bike!
I'm a BMC man, myself. I love the new Teammachine. Will make a great used buy in two years.
WOW. Amazing bikes. The Trek Emonda is gorgeous. Would definitely buy that one.
that's the reason I LOVE my 'old' Emonda rim break 2018
I have a 2019 model SL5. Any worthy upgrades you guys would recommend?
Got rhe Emonda SL6 2020 rim brakes the last of our kind ( rim brakes )
Smoked 5K-12K bike on a climb everytime😆 emonda best climbing bike!!🤘🏽🚴🏿
TCR the cleanest and most gimmick free design. Just lovely.
Uh, mast topper interface... perhaps the worst gimmick of all.
kenneth street agreed
BMC looks the most gimmick-free to me.
@@federaikkonerer BMC looks the most gimmicky to me, especially with those ridiculous aero bottle cages.
Agreed. Ordered the advanced pro 0 last week. Won't get her till April though.
No particular order:
- Tarmac SL7
- Emonda
- Team Machine
- Caledonia
- TCR
Interesting, thanks for this list!
I have the TCR with rim brakes and it is a dream!
Gorgeous bikes all and thanks, BikeRadar, and I like all of your lists. But I can't help but wonder what's new for '22, retro rims? Somebody will surely do that, I suspect, with a flagship model called the NDB.
nice! great picks!
Jorbi Dominus 2021... great machine, I’m very pleased
If I had £10,000 to spend on a bike...I wouldn't, I'd buy two, one for Summer, one for Winter
Me too, except $9700 on summer, $150 on winter bike and $150 studded tires.
I think I would buy one and exchange a few components to ride during winter or summer.
If you live in san diego you shouldn’t.
Proud owner of 2021 TCR Advanced 1 Disc. Amazing bike!
Same here. Best bike ever.
Id love to see new Orbea Orca OMX on the list or Willier SLR.
I have a Cervelo Caledonia. It’s awesome for longer rides. I also have my 2017 blue/orange Giant TCR built up KOM possibilities. :-)
at what millage do you opt for the Caledonia over the TCR? I have a 2018 TCR and would love an endurance bike for plus 3 hour ride
“Here are 5 bikes that literally no-one can afford”
Giant TCR is not that much expensive as the first four.
Giant tcr and merida reacto carbon ie 4000 or 5000 are gr8 value for money.
If you dont want carbon bike then merida scultura 400 rim is best 1000 dollars bike. You get 105 grpset, 8.46kg weight and you can use tyres for yr and change them to save even more weight.
Pretty much. hahahaha
If there were "literally no-one" then prices like this would not exist. There are people willing and able to spend six-figure amounts on wrist watches. For them, 15,000 $/£/€ is nothing.
I can afford them.
Scott Foil let this 70 y.o. capture 25+ all time KOMs, new “cable-less” model even better, great ride.
Wilier Zero SLR? Thought that should be on the list for sure...
Pass
@@evangossell1980 why?
Prediction- Venge will come back incorporating all the features allowed from UCI relaxing frame design rules to be more like tri bikes (reported by Cycling Tips) like thin seat stays, deeper head tubes, and compensation triangles, etc. Trek Madone will get these things too but weigh 1.5kg.
and they will call it the Re-Venge lol
The Specialized is beautiful!
I still have my 1998 TCR, even now It still feels like a modern old style bike.
I’m partial to the tarmac - as I have one on order set to deliver in December
It may be discontined by then ,, for the new Venge
🤔 Just bought a Trek Domane sl but kept my 14 year old TCR composite rimbrake bike for summer riding...😀
I still run my Scott CR1 from 2010 and it’s smooth as when I bought it! It still beats a lot of the new bikes out there!
So do I: specialized s-works tarmac sl of 2009.
You missed the Specialized Aethos, which has the TCR beat in every category. It's lighter, easier to fit, and easier to swap parts, all while retaining an amazing ride feel.
Except the price is like 3 times higher than TCR
@@timothysuprapto6226 Only when you compare radically different price points. The 2021 TCR advanced SL Disc O priced out at $11,850, competing with the Sworks Aethos Red Etap at $13,500 for a difference of $1,750. Far from 3 times the price.
How about some lower spec price points? The TCR Advanced Pro Disc Ui2 prices at $6100, while the Aethos Comp Rival AXS is at $5000. Even without carbon wheels it's lighter than the $1000 pricier TCR.
BMC did a great work with teammachine! Love it!
I agree. it looks great
Amazing bike so aero
Yep...you got it right...love my TCR advance pro....only bike ill ever ride
Giant TCR❤️
Giant TCR!
All beautiful bikes!
Love my tcr a great bike at a good price
What about Cannondale or some Italian bikes?
And I hope that you'll do a video for aluminium bikes that costs less than 1200€
The canyon would be the bike for me
I like the canyon as well but heard a lot of complaints about the quality of the carbon
I believe that the Canyon Endurace range would edge the BMC in the top 5
If the Venge still in production. Probably No. 1 on top 5 list
Giant TCR is my number one!
Why can't Giant use the word carbon for their frame instead of Advanced-grade composite....?
@@albandb9366 haha....true....I have Giant TCR advanced PRO 0 KOM.....What a f***d up name, but at least the bike is awesome
@@jernejorlcnik3112 i agree I was very happy with my TCR but I decided to go for an Italian manufacturer 😉. Quality price Giant are very hard to beat....!
Spot on👍
10k bike is a total bargain apparently. Ok
You may be from somewhere that sarcasm is more exaggerated.
Because of course everyone was going to buy a climbing AND an aero bike.
😂😂😂
Apparently......
Do these people have cars?😧
I like that saddle bag shown on the Emonda... anyone know what brand that is?
1:35 Wait, what is that kind of cyclocomputer mounting? So clean compared to Cateye's Barfly.
Still doesn’t change my mind , I love my black baby , the Avanti Pista Road bike with immaculate running gear and specs to boot that suits me to a tee .......getting new Zipp Firecrest rims soon
Lovely Bikes!!
Yes you did...I love my TCR....but I would have expected it to be ...say no.3 spot....!
Hmmm, I'm still pretty keen on my (upgraded w/Di2 8050 gruppo + C50 wheelset) 2014 Cannonale Synapse. Bought partly on the strength of rave reviews hereabouts; IIRC, "game changer" was bandied about. Well, it _is_ good. The marketing seems to be leaning towards "bikes that can do anything" -- but if any bike comes close to being an all-rounder, the Synapse has got to be it, maybe with the exception of any aero pretensions. I wonder what the bikes reviewed here would offer over my old Synapse? I was thinking of titanium for my next bike in a few years -- a better idea that an aero/stiff/comfortable/lightweight £10,000 bike like those on display here?
Sana all ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😭😭😭😭😭😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😔😔😔😔😕😕😕😕🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
TCR the best!
Carbon vs Advanced-grade composite frame...I will choose the 1st option. 😉
lol as Scott released the Scott Addict RC in 2020, which Specialized followed Scotts " One bike do it all" Also Scott Bikes Releases new Aero bike for 2021
Great choice
What do you think of the vitus vitesse evo? In its lowest spec model the 105?
Canyon Aeroad? Comments please. I’m looking for an upgrade and these are all on the list. Thanks!
Not sure. I heard some complaints about the carbon and also, it is a bike that you see everywhere. I don't mind that but I prefer a unique bike
"Best" affordable bikes would be a nice feature as well. Pros don't buy their own bikes, but we commoners do. "Affordable" might be in realm of 3000 pounds or less. All these super bikes, and "old" Colnago was ridden to the "top" at recent Tour de France....first year in the mix for quite some time. I've wondered at its absence over the past years.
Has Cannondale not announced their 2021 line, or did they fail to make the list this year? It feels like the SuperSix or CAAD has reliably been on every top-5 list practically every year since the return of the supersix, no?
I think you're spot on. Cannondale has yet to release their 2021 line up, so... how do you have a "Top 5" for 2021, if all models aren't out.
I dont think they're due for any major updates or releases this year though, so it makes sense the list would feature newly released bikes
@@htdtr that's right. Cannondale isn't changing anything except paint schemes and maybe components. But the CAAD13 and SuperSix EVO frames will be identical to last year's.
@@zoso73 have they announced that or is this your impression as a bianchi fan? lol
@@somewhatboxes No. It's because I've owned over 10 C'Dale road bikes the last 15 years and currently ride an EVO and a CAAD12 and know that C'Dale doesn't update a frame the year after a new frame launch. Don't judge a book by its cover.
10,500 Pounds for a Tarmac SL7; but it's really like 2 bikes in ONE. So you're essentially getting 2 bikes for the PRICE OF 2 BIKES!!!
How will all of these bikes perform on trainers in lockdown isolation mode 2021? 🤣🤣🤣
Kidding of course. Hoping for a safe and open road season. All amazing bikes we’d be proud to own and ride despite the disc brakes 😬
TREK MADONE SLR 9 😍
The only bike you need is a TCR. That bike is beast.
Good luck finding any bike
Giant bike user here! 👍🏻
Ex. Went to Bianchi 😍
TCR ❤️👌💪🚴♂️🏆
Cervelo “transcontinental” endurance machine!?! Please include bikes with light holes in the front fork only
Giant TCR Advance still leads...They should hide all cables so it would be more clean looking bike
S-works is wow
I’ll stick with my 2006 Fuji Team Pro.
Ribble Endurance SLR disc provides the best package for your money right now
I really like that bike, just nervous with the company being across the pond.
Maybe it wasn’t announced yet when this video came out but the new Cannyon Aeroad should be in the list no ?
What about the Trek madone as well ?
i hope that i can ride 1 of this bikes somday
Can you get on and do one on cyclocross bikes mate as noone else has I'm time so you would have all the views also
So where do Colnago and Bianchi fit in the market place.
What about the Cannondale Super 6 Evo?
Only Trek bikes have the distinct compliance feature called Iso-speed that buffer out the bumps. I have one, Madone SL with that feature. Wonder why other makers don't seem to care about it.
Patents
The emonda does not have/need that feature.
I'd have put the new Scultura Endurance in this group.
They are very nice bikes but i can only imagine the price tag
new canyon aeroad is launching next tuesday
I've seen emondas snap in half showing super thin rubes
Love it
The question is if these will be available to buy in 21.
Picked up my S-Works SL7 on Saturday... have been smiling since! Only negative the rim width running 26' Turbo Cottons puts the fear of God into you every time you see or sense a pothole in the road seeing the rim as you look down at the wheel takes getting used to... Positives too many to mention it's just a superb all-round bike expensive yes but as the saying goes you get what you pay for!
Is this Conor from GCN doing the narration?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's Conor Dunne doing the voice over??. 🤔 🤔
bicycles that are more expensive than motorcycles
mind-blowing
Where is the Peloton? Certainly a competitive option in this range?
The next thing is lightweight venge.
That would be very fast. Great idea
Bought a madone sl7.
No Trek Domane?
I have 2020 Specialized Venge Pro Etap and 2021 Cervelo Caledonia 5 in Red. I love my Venge but the Caledonia is prettier. If I am made to choose, I don’t know. I really like red bikes..
They miss Bianchi and I would like to buy a none disc brake for sure
Basically a list of the most mainstream bikes you can buy.......... disappointing
They are probably mainstream for a reason ;)
Ties Kuijpers no
Ties Kuijpers The only decent/good bikes in this video are the Cervelo, Trek, Giant and maybe BMC. It’s just a shame that every single bike mentioned is disc brake only, which doesn’t actually make a road bike better.
@@astrayagrarian Whats wrong with the specialized? Have you ridden all 5? You have to realise this channel and their website exists from marketing budgets from big bike brands, and they are all pushing discs
@@astrayagrarian you just mentioned 4 out of the 5 bikes mentioned in this video as decent, so you basically agreed with their list. I don't know what point are you making.
I am a physician in Pakistan , even I can’t afford these... still I will save money for one of them
instead of saving money, invest your money then you might be.
#1 bike of 2021 is a bike that fits you. Fed up with seeing people with a periscope amount of spacers under the stem to get a bike they like the look of instead of getting a bike fit first. I love the look of LeMans cars, but doesn't mean I need it as my daily driver.....
Scott Addict is up there as well.
The Specialized Venge is the best looking bike ever made.
I find at least interesting that no Bianchis are found in this best bikes reviews even if their bikes, although not the newest or latest release, are found consistently at the top of all major racing events. Why?
Because they don't spend on marketing
I don't want the best, I want BUDGET!
TCR
SENSA TRENTINO SL
Scott speedster 10
The cheapest top of the line Cube bikes are 1-2k euro/dollars cheaper compared to a similar mainstream American/European brand
Bianchi Sprint
These five super bikes are the best of all.
