Got these for their Dolby Atmos support and also cos of the price reduction. I wanted a decent quality headset which is a bit of an all-rounder - i like me gaming but I also like me movies. Cant wait to get these tested. Thanks for taking the time to showcase all of the features, greatly appreciated Mike and Kath :-)
As a follow up....... been watching some movies with this via the dongle and the USB wired connection. When playing Destiny 2 and GTA5 I was hearing sound effects that I had never heard before, especially in Destiny 2 ! As for the films I watched Matrix, Avengers Endgame, The Mandalorian and Empire Strikes back and the sound reproduction is some of the best Ive heard, that Dolby Atmos is something else !
Hey Mr B. Honestly these cans are awesome. Watched The Batman last night in 4k and listening to it with these bad boys on. Was really immersive, especially the car chase part of the movie.
I'd like another wireless gaming headset. If these had active notice canceling I'd give them a try. I'm a anc snob now so the ability to turn anc on & off is essential to me now. Cheers fir the video & didn't know a new XT version was out.. Mic sounded good 👍
@@mikesunboxing Agreed, you can hear a lot of the outside world with these on but as for audio fidelity this headset is well worth telling the wife and daughter to shut the hell up :-)
Great review Mike and today the white version down to £126 on Amazon albeit limited stock. I expect for quality lovers these would be ideal but then I am a cheapskate lol One question I have regards the USB C connection...is the other end of cable be USB A, C or jack plug? Hey Mike, I was thinking of purchasing a Gameboy Advanced (or any sort of Gameboy to be honest) from CEX (in-person, not online) and was wondering whether you think that I should as they seem like a mixed bag when it comes to selling used products.
I’m really leaning towards buying these XT’s. I’m only concerned about the quality using these on PS5. I keep hearing these are amazing with the Dolby atmos on PC but the ps5 doesn’t support Dolby atmos as far as I am aware. Any further info on this would be appreciated 🤔

I got this headset and the older version. Super super super uncomfortable after 30min of play. That's the worst part of it. It's too small. Your ear will touch the sound pads too. I only recommend this to people who has small ears.
@@mikesunboxing NGL Mike. It's the same crap. It's pure marketing. After 30min i want to throw it. xD . Build quality is really good. The mic is the best mic you can find. I just dont understand how corsair made the ear pads so small and roundish. good video.
The rgb goes red as if it mutes but doesn’t mute it as well as the volume not being adjustable I assume it’s a compatibility issue but I appreciate the response! Its the 2019 version so I don’t think it was really meant for Xbox at the time

thanks for the loan of them, it was hard going back to a "regular" headset after, i was shocked how shit mine sounded in comparison

Luv me my wireless Void Pros w/RGB. They'e been great for a few years now. Last pair, Turtle Beach, were cheap and sounded good, but did not hold up.

in this instance i would trade ANC for audio fidelity, it really is a very open and alive sound stage

The other end is USB A mate
yep as bob said type a on the other end, but can be swapped out for type c both ends if required

I don't know how Atmos works in headphones? The home cinema Atmos setup is 7.1 speakers, with particular speaker placement etc.
it does it in a virtual way and takes the waveforms and does so magical stuff - it really is witchcraft

i get where you are coming from with that, the newer ones appear to have a little more room there, but having flat ears will be very helpful here

try them in a different room or outside and see if it still happens, if it happened outside then it might be a product fault
