I swear today all I could think of was how Memphis beat them that 2022 playoff run and how far along the wolves have come since them . Ant right now is clearly gonna be the face of the league , ja is great but there are so many more elements to ants game that ja doesn't have . Grizzlies fully healthy can not compete with this wolves team and where that one season they looked to be like that next big young team I now see them behind the wolves AND okc in west talent wise . I don't see them making much noise next year with this stacked west . Maybe a playoff team but far from contenders . Ant man is here to stay .

As a Nuggets fan, you’re completely wrong. These guys in Minni are amazing. Great and hungry team with something to prove.Denver needs next 2/3 games or it’s over. We have no bench, Jamal is not playing at his highest level so it’s all on Joker to win against 3 bigs; it’s not happening unless others open up the game and pick up some slack. As for Edward’s, I dare to say Jordanesque. If you wanted to know how well Jordan would do in this era with the 3-point jumper, that was Edward’s tonight. Honestly, if they beat us, it will be well deserved.

Gobert was so good at recognizing when Jokic was shooting or throwing a lob, and breaking up the lob to Gordon, there were 2 or 3 times he knocked that lob away and created transition opportunities for the Wolves.

Ant proved to me yesterday that he can be a bonafide top 5 player in the league but let’s pump the brakes a little bit…. Ant will have to take a another leap soon to match current Luka’s production, Jokic is still very much in his prime, and Wemby has GOAT potential. I look at Ant to potentially being better than Wade. But we’ll see Ant is one of my favorite players in yhe league so I’d love to see him take that leap.

I called it too the wolves are too physical and a calf injury is very serious. Jamal Murray needs to be in top form. Not teetering on the verge of an Achilles injury
Murray is hurt as so often. The Nuggets have already missed the chance to seriously contend twice before during Jokic's incredible peak run because Murray missed two complete playoff runs due to injury. If he can't play at a high level this particular Nuggets team has no chance to compete because Denver has no scoring from the bench at all. Murray made a couple of closing shots v the crappy Lakers but overall was terrible. He couldn't make a shot again tonight because he has no quickness to create separation and no lift on his jump shots. It could be worse. You could be a Phila fan.
If Murray is playing you can’t say he’s hurt. If he’s so hurt that he can’t play well then he shouldn’t play.

The Wolves and Ant are playing their best basketball in 20 years right now, and you fans are over here angry why no one predicted they would turn into a juggernaut. They weren't this good during the regular season, there was literally no data that they could achieve this level of play before May 4th

I was so pissed at the phony technical foul that ANT-MAN got in the 3rd quarter (I think 3rd quarter). The NBA allows more fouling in the playoffs, which is great, it's beyond time to let the players show true emotions. I don't want a bunch of guys acting like Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan, and just run down the court after an amazing shot made or amazing play on defense, let the players be human and show passion!

The thing about Ant is that he is still learning and maturing. During the regular season Ant definitely takes nights off against teams he thinks as lesser. He was also using those games to get off the ball and learn how to facilitate. By the end of the season he was putting it all together.
Ant has shown in 3 post seasons that he rises his level of play from the regular season. This is because he respects the team that he is matched up against.
The extra rest they get between games gives him the legs he needs to drain his mid range jumpers. As an MN fan, Ant is usually a lesser version of himself on the end of a back to back. Jumper is flat due to tired legs.

Ant and Paulo are next up. EDIT: Had to check. Paulo could be considered Italian, though American born and raised, so he counts.

The Wolves are probably the favorites here because of Reid, KAT and Gobert (not just Edwards). They are in a very unique position to throw 3 huge guys at him all night long. The Wolves are going to find themselves in a similar position against Boston in the finals; Edwards will have to deal with Holiday, Brown, White and Tatum taking turns on him all night long. Styles make games.

In a league where players like Lebron, Steph, Kawhi and KD all of them past their prime are still able to perform comparably to the top end young talent, Anthony Edwards is the first guy I have seen who seems to have the GOAT level super star potential. There is still some growth for him to go through but I haven't seen anyone who if they were to play these aging super stars in their primes would look comparable to them. I know that you think Jokic is in that tier, but I don't really agree with it since he has not had to face a single team with a superstar in their prime and a team built to be as effective and near perfect as the nuggets.
Anthony Edwards is the future, and I am all for it.

Denver played the weakest competition I have ever seen a champion play. 42-40 Wolves, 45-37 Suns, 43-39 Lakers and 44-38 Heat. 3 of 4 were play-in teams.

Denver hasn't won a playoff series against a team with more than 47 regular season wins since the bubble (Minnesota won 56 games this year). They've got the best player and the best crunch time offense in the league, and the lazy analysis is that that is all you need to be the best team. They're gonna get tested in this series in a way that no one has done so during this run of theirs, I don't think they can keep going down big against a defense like the Wolves'.

Ant joins MJ Lebron Luka as best playoff risers I’ve ever seen from from 20-22 years old! His playoff level Reminds me of 87-93 MJ mixed with some 2009 Wade. I saw him love crush my pacers center Court row 9/11/13 score 40+ with a ton of clutch shots and game ending block.

Nuggets playing with fire having been down 12-22 pts in every game now! If non Lebron lakers shot better from 3 they could of lost vs them too or at worst gone 7. Bron was 39% from 3 while rest of Lakers 28% (34/121 which is horrific. If they were league average to hot instead which is possible as many were wide open they would of been 44/121 to 54/121).
