  • In this tutorial, I go over how you can switch the animations your AI/NPC Pedestrian uses (as well as any other character). This means you'll be able to make them walk, run, and more! This is an indirect part 2 of my previous tutorial ("Unreal Pedestrian System").

    Also a vid about retargeting animations too. Or how to blend them together? Or walk? Basically anything that can help create realistic NPCs

    8:14 How would randomize the "Initial Position" value? I want to have several character walking but randomize the looping positions.

    Hi there - Thank you for your videos, they are most helpful!
    A question - If I have an NPC character - I want them to walk around and talk to each other, walk, run - Have a number of animations to cycle through and not bump into the world etc - normal things from an animation set - Have you got a video on this please?

    I donwloaded an animation pack from the Marketplace (MCO_Mocap_Basics), but the animation assets don't show up in the list when editing the character blueprint, how to apply them?

    i made my animation for female character (ABP_Quinn), but how to add this animation to other animations that ABP_Quinn already has, to execute it when i play this character by pressing a button when idle?.. this would be a great tutorial for beginners

    When i open the Manny Blueprint the event graph doesnt look anything like that, its the only thing confusing me trying to follow along with these tutorials

      @@Barcode6321 so i figured out i was not looking at the event graph, however i am still stumped on triggering a wall run animation while the wall run blueprint is active

    Copying the entire character just to change to animation of it? that will cause all sorts of problems. You should instead just change the animation with the construction script and a public-variable set within the map
