Being a bass player, I don't usually go nuts over bass solos, but this one is my favorite. Jan's feel and absolutely KILLER tone are amazing. And of course, I'm already HUGE Lachy fan. I stumbled across this show when Lachy put it up and have been a fan since and have listened to this show MANY times. It's one of my favorite background shows to listen to at work or when entertaining at home and it always gets great compliments and I'm happy to see Lachy's popularity grow and the bigger he gets, the better the chance I'll get to see him come somewhere CLOSE to Connecticut!!

I’m so stoked to see other comments about the bass solo. The tones he gets out of that instrument speak to me more than lyrics ever could. So simple yet so powerful.
I've commented before. But with a few large whiskies down this version just gets to me in various ways!!! And that bass interlude - man, it's actually meditative! Rewound three times for the pure pleasure!

Man...that solo was amazing. Always when I heard any singer announcing a bass solo I kind of "wow...not sure if this will happen" (cause actually is not always that a bass solo works well and sound good. Only my opinion, but this was one of the best bass solo I heard in a way long time.

Been playing Hammonds from the age of 13 Lachy...my all time favourite players and in no particular order would be Dr Lonnie smith ..Joey De Francesco ..Billy Preston....Doug Riley and of course Jon Lord...Love your style mate and in my humble opinion you play the Hammond better than all the above..it's as if the organ becomes a part of you when you play...Just brilliant...See you at Camelot, Vernon

I'm with you Joe, also a bass player. I loved Jan's solo. I also heard Lachy at Mitchell Creek in 2015 and his bass player then did a fantastic solo - I was mesmerised.
The entire performance is so killer. Playing as well as sound quality. Lucky crowd!
As a bass player, I can appreciate how much is going on here. Proof that you don't need to spill notes all over the floor to play a great solo.
