  • In this video we find more vine weevil larvae happily munching on the roots of our trees, so we beat them up, and then discuss what to do with them. Warning, there are LOADS of vine weevils in these pots!

Thanks for that video Tim . I had never seen the grub 😝. I currently have a huge infestation and just can’t get a handle on it. I have tried everything. I was wondering do you have a video of the eggs? I only noticed recently there are these small orange/yellow balls everywhere inside and on top of the soil in my pots. And I’m suspecting these are eggs ! They are very hard to crush but inside there is a whitish substance. Are these the eggs ? Would have thought they would be softer. Thanks

Hi, that sounds like slow release fertiliser to be honest, but you wouldn;t be the first to mistake it for eggs. One customer threw all her precious plants away because they were all "infested!"

Hey what to do with the brown eggs? Do I apply now when I can see a few warms or wait until they have hatched before applying? Thanks
