Stanley then recovers the mask and wears it one last time, and The Mask uses his powers and abilities to defeat the rest of Tyrell's men, save Tina by swallowing Tyrell's bomb inside him literally and flush Tyrell down the drain of the club's ornamental fountain. Charlie, Kellaway, Doyle and the police then storm into the club and arrest Tyrell's men.

The powers the masks grants is making ANYTHING possible as long as the host finds it funny. So to make it more effective the mask decreases the sanity of its wearer dramatically so that they can find more things funny.

@@arnoldj.samson5795 doesn´t felt that way with Dorian,his Mask seemed to only amplify his evil due to what range of superpowers he now possesses. I would say Mask amplifies what is inside of you for often those those who appear to be tired and beaten down,once they can let go this "sadness of life",turn out to be actually a silly funny bunch.
