Man they really overrating Chelsea’s second half performance. They were chasing the game of course ur gonna see one team sit off more and the other throwing everything they can to salvage something. The work was done in the first 46 minutes of the match for real
Their best chance was off two deflections for a wonderful header chance. The rest? Since when is a 35 yard shot a great chance, or a half chance by Ziyach? But I agree, there is still a second leg to play no doubt.
I still believe la Liga is in transition. Because I have seen no long ago domination from La Liga's teams in Europe. They lack of the quality players and coaches at this time that used to have 5 or 6, 7 years ago in my opinion. What it is kinda clear watching the champions since about 2008 and I dont like at all as an American, that this tournament is very English-Spanish teams. Like for some period, will be English and then, Spanish and later, English and then again, Spanish. And just once in a decade for example(with luck), a German or Italian team or French one, got it or at least reach the final. That's not so much "European tournament". In my view, English teams and Spanish teams should eliminate between themselves always or at least eliminate from the same country as long as it is English or Spanish teams. In that way, there is more chances for teams from other European leagues. What is this ? A dual monopoly ?
No English team can be better than Real Madrid because you can’t beat Real Madrid. No body in the World would pick a England team over Real Madrid because people like winners not losers. You can play better than us but, you can beat us.

I am also not ignorant enough to say Chelsea can’t turn this tie around but Madrid played a very good match against them
