This is a pointless discussion. It is for the entertainment of people who gather and need something to talk about while they drink. Greatness cannot be measured, only success. Greatness is always down to the individual concepts and criteria of each person. You cannot compare drivers of different eras, because although the talent of the individual driver is still the same and will continue to be, the cars, the tyres, the requirements, the track, the rules etc have all changed over time. He is one of the greatest, but that is just on a list of other greats, albeit a rather short list.

As someone who dislikes Hamilton, its really not about his race its more his personality and persona and how it changed after 2013 and 2016 in particular.
@@jakem5039 but I do think it’s important to remember that it is a persona. With all the criticism he gets, he just wants to come across as intimidating but you can’t actually see what he’s like as a person only judging by what you see on TV
