I'm an African, Africa has been receiving foreign aid for many decades now, and I don't see much difference. I don't think we need aids, what we need is self discovery, self realization and good leadership.

Being African, my perspective of this is this.
All countries have their own problems to deal with. I don't think Japan is an exception. It is surprising that Japan despite (its own personal problems to deal with) "altruistically" comes to the aid of 54 countries of the African continent.
This makes it obvious to me that it's not just for free. As the reporter asked "what's in it for them?" There's something in it for them definitely. This may be why they dedicate so much time to Africa.
When Japan was badly struck by WW2, mostly Japan alone worked out its problems and got to the level it is today.
Same way I think, Africa's problems can be solved my mostly Africa itself.
I do not trust all the help that comes.
Africa continuing to let external influences in may not help to solve it's problems.

Yeah. In Nigeria currently, a presidential election is to be held by feb 2023. The election is btw the youths and the old fools ( 50 and above). Our preferred candidate is in a minor party, today the party name is well talked about because of the hard work the youths have put in. This man is a business tycoon and invest in human development when he was a governor, the one we are fighting believes is his turn to rule, he’s old like the current president, have the old people mentality of share the money instead of invest. What are my saying, this should send a message to Europe and other countries who are planning to get hands on Africa, once the youths emerge, deal is off. But we know what these evil countries esp England, china and other countries will do, they will sponsor these old fools and help them win so they will continue their partnership. We also know what to do 😁. It won’t be surprising to hear that the president of Zambia is dead, he’s doing a good work which is not good in the eyes of the whites. We are watching. They killed gadaffi , we won’t let them go with any crime as such.
