- Hello! Welcome to Sherri's Heavenly Apothecary. I'm Sherri.
Today I am making my Heavenly Luxe Face Soap. I don't know about you, but I love a good, gentle, conditioning face soap! This bar is luxurious, with a gentle, conditioning, and superbly moisturizing feel that will not disappoint! The oils and botanicals were picked specifically to create a moisturizing, healing, soothing, and conditioning bar with antiinflammatory, anti-drying, and anti-aging properties.

I already subbed! #186.
Looking forward to the channel growth.
Awesome! Thank you!
What happened with the final results? Everything went black.
Yes, this is one of my very first videos and it didn’t get recorded. The final results are in the photo on the video thumbnail.
Hot! Low of 88, high of 100.
Do you think it’s better to infuse herbs in water or as a tea, like shown or infuse herbs into oil?
I think it depends on what you’re making how you infuse the herbs. You can do both. Not sure which is better, I like infusing in water and oil, so I guess that’s a personal preference 😊thanks for watching!
@@SherrisHeavenlyApothecaryok thank you!
Hi Sherri new to your channel, I have a question. The lye solution being such a harsh chemical when you add the lye to infused water doesn’t the lye harms the properties of the herbs.
Thank for sharing.
Good question! I think it does somewhat but cannot tell you exactly how much it does or doesn’t. I also like using infused oils, as well to give it more of the herbal properties, but even then I’m not sure how much withstands saponification. I do like having them in there rather then not because even if there is only a little I still want those benefits and to me they give the soap a good skin feel. I wish I had a better answer. I guess it’s a personal preference whether one thinks it’s worth it or not. Thanks for watching!
Did you grow the herbs? Where can I find them? Thx
I do grow them, but not in the winter there in MN 🥶❄️I get them from herbco.com and mountain rose herbs. I always get organic herbs. Both companies are great.
