Today I am making my Heavenly Luxe Face Soap. I don't know about you, but I love a good, gentle, conditioning face soap! This bar is luxurious, with a gentle, conditioning, and superbly moisturizing feel that will not disappoint! Do you think it’s better to infuse herbs in water or as a tea, like shown or infuse herbs into oil?

I think it depends on what you’re making how you infuse the herbs. You can do both. Not sure which is better, I like infusing in water and oil, so I guess that’s a personal preference 😊thanks for watching!

Hi Sherri new to your channel, I have a question. The lye solution being such a harsh chemical when you add the lye to infused water doesn’t the lye harms the properties of the herbs.
    Thank for sharing.

Good question! I think it does somewhat but cannot tell you exactly how much it does or doesn’t. I also like using infused oils, as well to give it more of the herbal properties, but even then I’m not sure how much withstands saponification. I do like having them in there rather then not because even if there is only a little I still want those benefits and to me they give the soap a good skin feel. I wish I had a better answer. I guess it’s a personal preference whether one thinks it’s worth it or not. Thanks for watching!

Did you grow the herbs? Where can I find them? Thx

I do grow them, but not in the winter there in MN 🥶❄️I get them from herbco.com and mountain rose herbs. I always get organic herbs. Both companies are great.
