We saw this coming a long time ago and this is the reason we kept Supskin small and focused on direct sales. Selling the same number of suits year after year proofes us right...and keeps the price up at a reasonable level .
Being a 'water sport CZcamsr' I have the same feeling as you about SUP industry. Which is your feedback, instead, about wing foiling? I am very curious and open to discuss about it ;)
Thank for watching. I am not sure if i can call myself a youtuber, but yes in case you watched the entire video, SUP sales are down and advertisers are pulling back, retailers are closing. In Wing and Foil not so much there is lots of enthusiasm I feel.
Thanks for watching. I am actually working with many people who do kids programs. Supporting kids is very important, we see great efforts in Spain raising some great SUP Athletes, Germany is working on this as well. Its coming for sure.
I think inflatables could be made so much better with such better shapes. Gong is part way there, but they all need to update their act. Foiling is taking over, just ask Kalama, code, Axis, Armstrong , king, the LA boys, and don’t forget FoilDrive!!!

@@henryhester1897 ah too bad... you were just here. Well yes, its kind of obvious the Kaanapali and the Hill side is not where the town was. So the fire could not spread across empty land.
interesting to hear and I can imagine it to be hard times for some companies, but the question is, if discounters can bring out SUPs so cheap, were the old prices that fair to begin with and secondly, most people use SUPs to chill on a lake and paddle a little bit around, so they don`t need hyper technical gear, but just something that floats...
Thanks for watching yes the discounters is a double edged sword. I am sure the brought some people to the sport, but the also create pressure and low quality products end up in the trash soon. 🤷🏼♂️
@@StandUpMagazin that`s true, but I still have two aqua marina boards that are working well whereas my mother-in-law bought a board three times as expensive and had to repair already several things. So paying more does not always pay off...
Prices have risen to ojtrageous level. If is time for the consumer to regain leverage.

I believe the industry needs to target the Youth and Family market for long term stability. See you on the water :)
