His DNA comes from Nigerian parents. He was born and spent his developmental years in Nigeria. Yeah, how dare him honor where he comes from. That Latino boxer that beat Anthony Joshua, people are calling him Mexican even though he wasn't even born in Mexico. But you have a guy that was actually born in the country he's honoring and somehow its a problem? people dont even want to call him by his African name. They call him Marty. People that arent naive recognize that it's racial. It's the fact that a black African kid that partially grew up in the United States would still honor his home country. White Americans want you to think Africa and Africans are worthless so when you have this alpha male character coming out draped in Nigerian flag and honoring his African roots while being confident and beating the shit out of everyone it irks them because they think so low of Africans . Especially since he partially grew up in America, you guys want to claim this guy as your own.

I like the fact that despite all this he still sticks to his priorities and doesn't change himself for anyone, or wave some other flag.
