"The Whole Nine Yards" is a crime comedy film released in 2000, directed by Jonathan Lynn. The story follows Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry), a hapless and neurotic dentist living in suburban Montreal whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers that his new neighbor is Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis), a hitman hiding out from the mob after ratting out his former associates. Despite their differences, Oz and Jimmy become entangled in a web of mobster schemes, murder, and mayhem. With a mix of dark humor and slapstick, the movie is a blend of thrills and laughs as Oz tries to navigate the dangerous new world he finds himself in, while potentially benefiting from the chaos. I concur, this was an underrated movie.
I can't believe this film got such a low rating from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes - I watched it the other day and loved it, especially Rosanna Arquette's scheming French Canadian wife cameo. All the performances are spot-on, the dialogue is snappy and the plot really moves along briskly. It's a little gem. Critics on RT are very mean spirited and snotty, I think. Audiences know better.

Thank you for this video! The Whole Nine Yards is one of my favorite films. I have no idea why so few people like it. It is very entertaining. It has everything you want in a good movie - great acting, fun, decent soundtrack, plot twists, and great humor - especially from Kevin Pollack’s character.
