This WASN'T part of the plan... | losing my telehandler, vaccinating ewes & an unplanned clean out.

- After a couple mornings of peaceful sheep chores, we are back at some big jobs this week... and one not planned.
I'm losing my telehandler again to the doctor, so I'm scrambling to do jobs that I know I can only do with her before she leaves...
One being an unplanned ram pen cleanout.
Monday and Tuesday also included keeping ON schedule with some much needed vaccinations for my ewes.
And a surprise little reno update with Jack!

Roses are red
Sometimes they’re maroon
I hope that Sandi gets
a new Telehandler soon
😂
Clever 😂
Awesome comment about the telahandler
😂
Haha. Good one.
Sandy. Professional photographer here. On your tripod, look on the bottom of the central post. There’s a hook eye or loop there. Use an S hook to attach a bag of sand or shot or any kind of weight. It will make it more stable when you crank the center mast way up. It will also slow the tip if the sheep hit it thus protecting your camera. I am brutal on my equipment and it has saved me many times
Awesome advise
⁷
Great advice. Thanks for giving us your knowledge 😁
How about a fishing weight?
@janellevans878 the weight needs to be a little more than the weight of your camera. My camera with its big lens is 11 lbs. I put about 15 lbs. I'm a wedding photographer so I use water and then pour it out at the end of the night.
As soon as I see a sandy video come on I’ll click on right away I love her videos she is so genuine and doesn’t do it for the lakes doesn’t do it for Clickbait she doesn’t do it for clout she does it to show us her every day life as a farmer mother and wife mad respect much love from New York
I agree. She’s just amazing. We need more Sandi’s in our world. ❤
Yes firm agreeee 😂❤😊
Me too, it’s sometimes hard to wait until I have a break to watch. ❤
Me too ! 🤗
Me too I like to binge watch sandi's videos.
It is really nice that the family can fix Jacks house. Most people would pay multiple contractors.
Those are good skills to know 👍
I need them now, my drain pipes totally rusted thru and now I have tons of repairs to do.
@karibarkeohr9749 oh, so sorry. 😮
It is absolutely amazing how many professions a farmer has. Carpenter, electrician, landscaping, general construction, engine maintenance and repair. You have to do it all, and I love seeing it. The drone footage is looking great.
THIS
I'm glad Sandi and Mike's son went into engineering. It really helps them out. My husband is a computer (and phone) tech. You know how nice it is to have someone in the field if you have ages 10-90 in your family. My father is a mechanic, too. Every time we have an issue with a vehicle he gets a call. LOL
@@Sarafimm2Sandi's husband's name is Mark.
I was thinking the same exact thing! Wow!
Hey peeps ! Do the CZcams things folks ! Sandi never asks but it’s important
Always do 👍👍
thanks for the reminder - with over a million subscribers we can do some good "like" counts.
I hope Kinsey gets special treats! She truly is the barn's unsung hero. I love how she stays right with Sandi!
Just lost my mom to cancer after a long journey from diagnosis, to treatment, to hospice. I lost my love for reading and today my mother’s ashes were returned to me. I’m currently outside my local book store reading “Crying in H mart”. Thanks mom, and Sandy. 🥰🥲
I am sorry for your loss. I still miss my mom after all these years but remembering the good times helps. 🥰💕❤️
I didn't think the drone would really make your videos any better because they were great already. But those transitional fly overs really are beautiful and surprisingly go with switching between parts oh the video.
The drone footage will be lovely during seeding and harvest too! Spring is coming can’t wait for spring lambs ❤
You’re an individual of immeasurable talent, perseverance, and self-sacrifice. A position that requires 24-hour, 7-day-a-week attention is one only a select group of people would take on.
Not to mention the fact that her young daughter had a battle with cancer. I have deep deep respect for her. 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
She is indeed very admirable. I can’t believe it when she flips those sheep around to trim their feet. one.after.the.other!
Great looking, hard working farmer - Sandi, ignore the lunatic fringe. You are learning, working, struggling, laughing through a hectic long day
Hope the telehandler gets its tuneup and is back quickly
Your work flows a lot smoother when Piper isn’t ‘helping’
Lol...Piper the grand baby
Hopefully she’ll learn more of what to do as she gets older. It took a while for Kinsey to learn too.
Piiiiippper, PIPER! 😂 she’s right in there “helping”.
I feel like at some point there needs to be a CZcams short which is just a montage of Sandi yelling "Piper!!!" 😂
@@RivvyWritesAndMakes I'd watch it. All the Piper interactions with the sheep and other dogs.
Good afternoon all you wonderful Sandy fans! I hope your day is blessed.💗
Thank you Vicky, where I am it's late morning. Have a blessed day ❤
You too Vicky. Hope you are having a good one.
Then you you made my day.
Same back at ya. Stay warm and please don't catch a cold. 💜
@@ashleysmith5001 thank you -
Mark was fortunate in finding a wife that is so versatile and has a great attitude about working hard as a team. He’s a lucky guy
Definitely! You are a precious jewel ❤🎉😊
No matter how many times I see you clean the pens, it is oddly satisfying. Sandi, you are the best you tuber. Thanks for the hours of enjoyment.
It would be great to see an actual time clock when she does it. I can’t imagine how much longer it takes than we think!
I can be in the middle of watching some other show and as soon as I get the notification I instantly drop everything to watch Sandi. We love you Sandi❤
Me too 💕👏💕
Me too, usually. Today I had to wait a bit. Man was here cleaning the fireplace and it was too loud to hear Sandi talk.
same!!! Sandi's videos make my day so much better. She's so real, so refreshing.
I never dreamed that watching a sheep channel would be so relaxing and enjoyable. A couple years ago, the video came in my feed with list of topics. I'm sure came up because of other animal videos I watched. After the first time I watched, I was hooked and continued watching ever since.
kudos to Jack. He helped build that basement, and that is good work. I'm proud of him!
It's basically Canadian mental health long weekend. A break from the drudge and routine of winter. It has different names in different provinces but it accomplishes the same thing.
Winter is long and sometimes something to get through.
Nice to see "camera shy Jack" behind the camera and carrying on the family tradition....yaya...great job Jack!
Who likes it when you clean the pack out? I do! I so enjoy watching the videos of the sheep and what it takes to keep a healthy flock.
But I'm glad we don't have smell-a-vision
@@sharonlamendola7421 It wouldn't bother me a bit. I'm a former goat farmer.
I like watching "Jaws" taking bites out of the pack.
Me , also like hoof trimming. Why, I don't know. 😂
I just get anxious about the dogs running around while machines are running. They are probably smarter than we give them credit for, but it still gets me.
Should be called Dirty Boys & Yelling at Piper! lol
I have seen twice now someone posting a Sandi short video to tiktok, I comment on the video thanking Sandi Brock for her hard work. Sandi is the best farmer that I follow and I want her to get the credit and maybe more followers.
I love a clean out day, I find it very satisfying
Jack did a great job on his video. He explained everything. That's a lot of work!
Those Ladies are so fluffy they have to take turns at the trough!
I couldn’t help but think of the scene in that one movie where the little says “It’s so fluffy! “. 😂
I’m laying in bed trying to recover from Covid and I see a new video from Sandi. Nothing has made me happier in the past 3 days…well except binge watching your past videos. Your smile and your sheep have been getting through. It’s was so good to see little Pita. Oh, Jack’s place is really coming along.
Covid? You guys still think of the flu as having covid? Here we all have seasonal flu, and nobody cares one bit.
Get well soon. We had it not long ago. Ugh!
I am still getting over it too so I hear you
Get well soon.
My friend & her family down too with Covid 😢
I love that we get to see all of the everyday booboos here and there. It makes us all feel less inadequate when you do an otherwise stellar and remarkable job at farming and everyday life in general. Thx, Sandi. LOVE your videos!!!! ❤🙂
Just wanted to say I've been enjoying the drone shots - nice to get a different perspective (literally) on things
Happy Family day thanks for sending with Us your sheepish Me Family ❤❤❤
Something so satisfying watching pen clean out. I must be weird!😂❤
Not weird. I refuse to be called weird. 😂 You are not alone. ❤
Hi, I live in lower Alabama 45 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. You and you family are a hard working family. I did have a small farm. Horses cows chickens the sheep at one time a three legged goat. I love the way you shake your life. Love the way you handle the humans that have a negative attitude . They are unhappy so they wonted to make you unhappy. Just continue to be you.
Sandi you work so hard, make it look easy but we all know its grueling task that you just do everyday. You are a wonder woman🦸♀️in coveralls instead of Cape! ❤🎉
That was a great update from Jack! Thank you Jack :)
When I first watched you it was while they were lambing. Now I watch for so many other good reasons! I admire your dedication, hard physical and emotional work, dealing with family health issues, education, reading, holidays, mechanical issues and the list keeps getting longer! Thank you for all you bring to us. ❤
Sandy, you are one of the hardest working women I have ever seen. You inspire me to do more without complaining. I'm 61 and have cancer. I've been sick for almost 3 months because I have a compromised immune system. I just wanted to say thank you. 😊
Oh yea! Somebody is having fun playing with their new toy!!! (Drone)
The best way to start my day is with a Sandi video!! ❤
I rarely make comments to video posts. But I feel I need to tell you how much I enjoy you. Your voice alone takes me to a good place. You are a teacher and not one that makes a student feel dumb. You always calmly explain things. Your humor is wonderful.
Thank you for being you
Jack I *love* seeing clean diy progress videos. You and your dad are doing amazing.
Watching the lambs jump around make my day! Kinsey is by your side and watches out for you. You do you and 😝 on the mean people. 💕
When I consider making my own vlog... it would consist of nothing more than me watching Sandi's vlogs. Always enjoy watching you, the family, the pups and the sheepies! For the record, you get more done in one video than I get done in an eon.
I am subscribed to probably hundreds of channels on CZcams with a huge variety of topics, but only 3 are set to send me notifications and Sheepishly Me is one of them. You always make my day and bring a smile to my face. Keep doing what you do ✌🏻❤️💡
I am so glad that you are feeling better now 😊
Tell Jack a fan said, "Great work! " I can feel his sense of satisfaction from a couple thousand miles away!
Sandy I’m so thankful for you and your CZcams channel. It brings so much happiness and enjoyment to my life. Please don’t ever stop.
At work! Saw the CZcams popup for Sandi's video and without hesitation I click! Thank you for brightening everybody's day 💚
I love the high overhead shots of your machines grinding, and spewing grains in troughs and outside farm views. Thank you. Good video work.
Love the overhead shots. The basement looks great. Whenever I grocery shop, I always pick up a cooked chicken. You always amaze me how hard you work. Sending blessings.
Yea rotis chicken or pizza on grocery day.
I love the overhead shots too! I’m trying to figure out how she does that.
Aww saw the little PITA. All grown up! Time really does fly. 💖
Sandi … Wow the drone video is fabulous…you have a full house in the barn the lambs are so big. Jack’s video of the basement is great, I’m sure everyone will be celebrating when it’s finished.
Sandi can you imagine mucking out the barns by hand oh boy😮
You sound like you feel MUCH better than last video. Thank you for bringing us along on your wonderful journey ❤
The three "Amigas" had me chuckling!!! Piper is definitely the baby of the group!! Glad that Jack has made great progress with his basement repair! Nothing worse than a basement leak/flood. Thank you for all you do, sharing your day-to-day!
Sandys new word… “PIPERRR” too funny!!!!!!
Yes sure. It’s Queen ewe vlog. Thank you for your love and kindness. I think good or bad day you are a special person. Saying Hey to Mark and Jack and of course Jess.
Well the telehandler needs some TLC( a spa day) lol. It works as hard as you do. That is what we call it when our car goes to the shop. You guys can fix anything so let someone else take care of your bobcat. ❤❤❤
Always feel better when you clean the pens. ❤❤❤❤
Great Job Sandi
One chore that I hate, bringing groceries into the house. Since we now have a ranch house and no steps to climb, I convinced my husband to get a little pull wagon so we can get the groceries in without carrying them in from the car or truck. One or two trips and we're done.
Hello Sandy every time I see one of your videos I want to tell you the same thing, but never know where in social media. Well, here it goes, you are one of the strongest, hardworking gal,
awesome mother, awesome wife. You are my inspiration (my hero) you are everything I wish I could be, not the farmer or the working part lol but you are just an amazing human being. The other day when you said about the comment that the lady made you feel bad I wanted to find it to tell her a couple of things. you’re beautiful you’re not gonna be with make up in long eyelashes to do the kind of work that you do, People are just so ignorant. Never change your perfect just the way you are!❤ thank you for being a role model to every woman that are so delicate and bane all the strength, the love and compassion that we could have!
Thanks for the update, Jack. Nicely done.
That little Piper pup has no fear.
She reminds me of my 11 year old granddaughter - if I fall, somebody will catch me! ❤❤❤❤
I think I’m addictive to her videos cause I look for them everyday
Just realized that the hearts on the back of that pretty thrift sweater are congruent (copesthetic) with the patch pocket on the rear of your work pants! 😂💕💕
Thanks for the update Jack. Looks Good!
Hi Sandi. Your talents never cease to amaze me with the handling of all that machinery you are such an inspirational, kind, intelligent beautiful lady and I'm so happy to be 1 of your many followers. Xxxx
Kinsey is such a good herding dog! She deserves lots of praise and love. I just want to hold her, pet her, and love on her.
Ahhhh I was wondering how Pita was doing ❤❤. 😂😂 Piper maybe little but she wants to be a sheep dog like big sis❤
I am so happy any time you drop a video I really enjoy your content ❤
Oh my goodness, Ms Piper!! Some days you do a little too much but we love you anyway!!
Looks like Piper was being feisty! Sandi you always amaze me at how hard you work!
Sandi, I love your videos and enjoy seeing all the lambs and babies! Though I tear up when a baby doesn’t make. It’s part of life .. I love watching my neighbors horses have their babies. It’s an amazing thing to see.
I don’t know how you do it Sandi, yet you do it all with such grace and a sweet smile. Hope your equipment gets fixed quickly without too much bother. I know how much you depend on it. It’s wonderful that Jack has learned so much from his dad (sadly under the wrong circumstances) however, carpentry and electrical skills are priceless.
Sandi you are like the Duracell Bunny...
You just keep on going 👍🙏❤️💙💙💖🐕🐕🐕🐑🐏...💖🤗✝️
😂 I've heard of "hit the hay" not hit the sheep with the hay❤Linda being silly😂
Yes ! Clicked on it as soon as I saw it . I use your videos to help me sleep . Your voice is soothing. These videos are better than ASMR videos. Thank you .
There's Willow again, being "the Leader of the Pack"🎵🎵💕💕
I’ve heard a lot of “Piper” today ! I think pup needs a time-out😊
Thanks, Jack for your footage!
It was so nice to have Jack narrating for a good long stretch.
Such a heavy busy week. The idea of a proclaimed Family Day holiday is excellent, and yet another "well done Canada" idea. Loved the drone footage, and the snow was very cooling to watch. Dear little Piper cheers me so. Good to see you sounding much recovered.
Would love to see how Jack and Mark created the access port for the shower pipes.
Mark & Jack are doing an awesome job. It would have cost a $$ to hire a contractor!! Good Job!!
Thank you Jack for the update your like your mom a great camera person . Great to see it getting done right . Sandi you’re such a joy to watch I would love to visit someday but I have to have hair on my head my head it always cold . Ii just miss living on a farm as a kid . I miss the animals a unconditional love have a great day you make my day 😊
🎉 here's to Sandy and the Brock family, the hardest working people on CZcams! I swear, if I could get done even a quarter of what you get done in every video, I would have the cleanest house and property in my area.😮😊😅😂 You and your family are amazing! 💞😍 Keep up the great work and we'll all keep enjoying what you share with us.
You are so cool I wish I had a friend like you. Thank you for being you. You have helped me through some tuff times.😎😜🤪🤷🏻♀🤦🏼♀🙏🏻
Beautiful work from a great woman ❤
Loving the drone footage. Jacks place is looking good. I really enjoy your vlogs :)
It was so good to see Pita and Teddy! Willow is just so sweet!😊❤
The drone footage looked beautiful! And something about the snow snapping down the silage wrap as so satisfying to watch!
Sandi, its so sweet watching how you talk to your "little peeps." You have built such a connection with each of them, and your love for them shows. Your smiles and expressions towards them are so endearing. I love it.
I love the drone pics! I get a kick of the hay landing on the sheep.
Thanks Mark for the drone. Gives better understanding of the machines.
I heard Sandi telling Carissa, while starting to herd the market lambs, that she used her drone quite a bit over the weekend, so I think Mark was a good teacher.
You are one busy person! Always enjoy your videos! Nice to see Jack working on his house. He and Mark are doing a great job!
The pen clean-out videos are my favorite!! So satisfying.
Jack’s place is coming along nicely. Hope you are able to get your telehandler fixed easily
Your story on the food issue during chemo brought back a memory from my mom's cancer journey. My dad would name off a multitude of things for my mom to eat, and would continually get a no. I asked about making her pancakes. These pancakes are like a big crepe. She always made them for us as kids and adults. Her reply to me, "Only if you make them." So I made the pancakes. She started eating them, and then proceeded to get sick yet again. Sadly, I know this road way too well. The 38th ann. of my mom's passing is coming up on Mar. 3. We got the MIRACLE of 2 extra years with her. I now have a 4 yr. old grandson, and a 40 yr. old daughter dealing with cancer. I'm so happy Jess is doing so well, and may the good Lord Bless Her going forward. Like others have said, this channel has given me a distraction, so I can partake in a different reality, if just for a little while.
I lost my mother to Metastatic Breast Cancer when I was 20. She’s been gone 23 years, I know the pain. I will keep you, your daughter and your family in my thoughts and prayers. May you know Gods unending blessings.
Love watching Kenzie work! She is such a sweet dog!
I'll say it again, you are my hero ❤
Using the drone again, getting some good shots with it. Well done. ❤
I love the overhead, bird’s eye view of the farm!
