Patience and Oge Okoye, I am so happy to see them together again. Ebube is developing into a good actress. I enjoyed this movie. As an African American woman, I must tell you that most of us would never expect or demand that the grandmother drop their life and help with a newborn. But, most G moms do it anyway because of their love and nurturing for their child and the joy of being a new grandma.
But when they tell you to get your child, you get YOUR CHILD. Now, ebube in her role as a child, I did not like❗She crossed the line; a child should stay in a child’s place, and the father saw that because he ordered her to room. But what he should have done was scold, correct, and instruct her to Respect her grandmother. But when she began mocking the grandmother, I was pissed. They would have found her on the floor and shaking terribly. That’s one thing the mothers, grandmas, and the great grandmother's passed down and did not play about; a child stepping into grown folks' affairs. That’s a line we didn’t dare to cross, cross it, and you’ll probably be sipping soup for a long while.
But every culture is different, I watched, and I have learned a lot about some African cultures and traditions.

Omugwo in the african society is a must oo. Grandmothers insist on doing it, even if you don't want to...it's a good tradition that helps new moms heal very well and bond with newborns without any stress.
the part about the child mendling in adult affairs is pure fiction. Trust me, no child would ever try that in the typical african family/society.
