those first few pcgs slabs are fake the color of blue on the paper label is off its a lighter blue and its a solid color instead of being darker blue and trasitioning from blue to white and also it does not have the lil security thingy in the bottom left corners like the last couple that had blue/ white labels and also the hologram on the backs are off, and if im not mistaken the holograms on the back of a few of those ngc slabs look a lil off also
Feel free to check the cert numbers! I am a PCGS authorized dealer & we don’t handle fake slabs, I take this very seriously. They are real slabs but older slabs. They fade and change colors all the time, lots of older slabs don’t have the counterfeit detection parts that the new slabs have. All real slabs :)
What are priced on the common dates and the 21 in ms66 and the 04 o
1896 is a common date especially in high grades. In today's market the 1881-S sells for as much.
Definitely not rare, but to newer collectors 1896 is cool when they have 3 1881’s already
