  • Hello there! Welcome back to my channel. I have put together this tutorial for an easy project that you can make fairly quickly and without a ton of yarn. I used scrap yarn for everything but the body.
    What you'll need:
    -size H crochet hook
-1 door of yarn for the bulk of the body, 4 colors of scrap yarn for the rest (if you have a larger amount of a scrap yarn color, that should work.)
    -2 buttons
-a needle and threat to sew on buttons
    -a yarn needle
    -Poly-fil or another stuffing material
    Thank you for watching!

This is so well explained and the results are so fast that it's easy to stay focused. I'm so happy and excited to make a couple more and continue to expand my abilities. Thank you so much for this tutorial 💗

Just completed two of these for my nieces and they are ADORABLE! I have tried some other online tutorials and there always seems to be a tricky stitch or jig in the pattern that goes a bit wonky if you aren't familiar with a technique. This tutorial is brilliantly done. You thoroughly cover all the steps and I finally feel comfortable with the Magic Loop. Even a first time owl maker should be thrilled with the results. A great project for scrap yarn. THANKS!

You are so clear and concise! Love your videos. I watched a few others and most talk too much before they start the tutorial or have such bad framing in their videos that you don't see the project or what is happening. Thank you for making it easy for a beginner like me to learn without having an actual teaching as I am a visual learner. Thank you so much and Happy New Year! Please post more tutorials!!!!

January 20th, 2020 and this is STILL my favorite little owl. I watched the video again because I needed a refresher on it. I make these and sell them like crazy at craft shows. I swear everybody loves owls. Listening to you talk while you were sewing on the beak and it makes me smile. Your beak is perfect. You said you are keeping this one for yourself, lol . I think your beak is perfect. Usually I make my beak while I am watching you because you sew it in a way that gives it the perfect shape.. But I know what you mean about sewing them on, seems like we never know exactly how it might turn out. Your little pudgy owl is PERFECT 🧡 and thanks for bringing this video to us because it has been a huge seller for me. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain what you are doing and why. Great video! Thanks.

Great video - you are a really good teacher! Your instructions are clear and you go slowly which is great for a beginner. One thing that I would have found helpful is if at the very beginning when you are crocheting the first few rows to increase the size, if you could have stated at the end of each of the rows how many stitches you were supposed to have. You did say at the end of the fourth row but for the second and third row it would have been helpful, too. Thank you.
