    Hey mate. Awesome video and very helpful. Just done my wife's 3.2 and replaced all four injectors as well. 120,000km and intake was chockers! One question, the springs on the intake manifold have got me stumped. I didn't see Marty crack the nuts so not sure whether they should be done up tight as Marty did later or actually have some spring effect. Can't find anything in the manuals

    Should have done the valve clearances when you got that far. Good vlog. Went to Mitsubishi and on their screen it didn’t show a gasket for the inlet manifold lid and they couldn’t give me one.
    Hard to believe.

    Hi. Nice video! Have you ever tried to remove the swirl valves on a 4m41 engine? I have read that Mitsubishi have removed the swirl valves on newer models, so I'm guessing thet they found out that they did not need the valves. I am tempted to remove mine and let the control solenoid be as it is.

      @SouthlandFlyer Před 7 měsíci

      Both my 2013 and 2014 Paj don't have swirl valves. Id like to know whether this has an impact on soot accumulation. The 2014 has never had a manifold clean that Im aware of at 290km, so will be interesting when I get time to pull it apart and do the clean.

    Hey boss, just a random question... When you're changing the oil filter out, is there heaps of oil aswell... I've changed it out myself the last 2 times and I feel like I'm missing a step with the amount of oil that comes out. Next time I'll be drilling a hole in the bottom to drain it first 😂... Also they're massive filters...

    • @joshsparkman2060
      @joshsparkman2060  Před 2 lety +1

      Nah dude, youre definitely doing it right. Just make sure the oil cap is off when you undo the sump bolt. And yeah, its normal for that much oil to still be left in there

    • @joshsparkman2060

      Hey thanks mate, and yeah i replaced the rubber gasket from the intake manifold going into the block.
      The metal gasket of the manifold where are the butterfly valves are, i re used. But as u saw in the video, mine was leaking a bit. So we also put some gasket maker on aswell
