It doesn't matter how many times I watch this Grand Final I get goose bumps seeing the drought broken in such a dower Contest we keep the pressure up all day and they found it to hot in the kitchen. I must admit the Crows were the best side in 2017 They had winners all over the ground throughout the year and in the finals up untill the Granny they started OK being two goals up at quarter time and in the second quarter there best quarter all season they were confronted with emence pressure and the usual game breakers were smothered and bullied into making mistakes, and at half time the game was more or less over as the Tiger Chaos was baffling the Crow brilliance that had dominated all year. The truth is when the crows got a run on not one team was able to stop the onslaught as there forwards when confident were magical led by their skipper The Texan and they had the polish of Eddie betts and the grunt of Charlie Cameron.and after the loss they went on that terrible end of year camp that ruined a great side as they dropped of the top of the hill so to speak. A Supreme Grand Final Win by the 13th placed 2016 side. A mighty year

Wasn't a dower contest. Crows were a good side. Dimma was a great coach and cotch a great captain in 2017. Didn't lose to any side twice. Did their homework and absolutely nailed it.
Both sides had dominant prelims and qualifying finals. Definitely the best two in it and the crows got spanked.

@@darrennoble1474The Crows did what is expected playing a top 4 side away. Sides only win 15% of matches playing a top 4 side on the road. The average turnaround from home to away between Grand Finalists is 11 goals, and in the modern era it is frequently larger than this. The Crows were severely disadvantaged in this match. Had it been played at Adelaide Oval, we would likely have seen something closer to the loss Richmond suffered to Adelaide in round 6. We will continue to see non-Victorian sides struggle like this in Grand Finals until the system changes. The 2017 GF had nothing to do with Damien Hardwick's coaching prowess. His club was structurally advantaged.

Hi, not sure y there are no other comments but juzt wantd 2 say thankz 4 posting the vid & agree with everything u said, I've watched the highlights of this, as well as 19 & 20 that many times it'z not funny & same as urself, I get shiverz at so many magical momentz, esp by Dusty ' Don't Argue ' Martin, the Greatezt Finalz Playr the game'z ever seen & 1 of the greatest Tigerz ever & it may juzt b the optimist & dreamr in me but I'm not sure the Dynasty iz over, juzt have this feeling there may b 1 more chapter, Never Believe In Never. I have watched this game many times, some with excitement and others very carefully.
How Bachar Houli did not win the Norm Smith is beyond me.
Dusty played a better game and had more impact pretty easy decision for norm smith tbh
@@ethan76708 Wouldn't say an easy decision, it was close between him and Bachar. But I don't understand how people think Bachar was outright robbed. Dusty's impact was undeniable.
Bacher didn't indirectly set up a number of goals like Dusty did. His impact was powerful. Bachar was easily 2nd best player. If he didn't miss those 2 set shots for goal he may have gone close to winning it. But Dusty's contested possession count was through the roof and was the difference.
