My cousin (Andrew Krakouer) played in a tough era at Richmond (2001 - 2007) and he was so happy when Richmond won the 2017 Premiership. Everyone involved at Richmond from current players to support staff to everyone working at the club and past players to all of the supporters...this was their moment and our moment. 2017 was the best year of my life. Go Tigers :-)

@J G your little “one man crusade” to end the AFL is amusing to watch. Not only does it piss people off but it’s a complete waste of human life for you to continue spamming your unwanted opinion on other sports comment sections.
Let me get it clear that we honestly don’t care about soccer. We’re here just to watch the footy. When we open an AFL video, we want to watch it, enjoy it and share the moment with other AFL commenters. Instead we have to deal with you, a biased flog who knows nothing about the beautiful game of AFL and makes the stupidest spam comments, hoping that his opinion single handed brings down the AFL.
The fact that you’ve been doing this for as long as 2012 shows how pathetic your life must be for you to continue spam commenting the same generic message in every video (not just AFL videos but NRL, NBL and any video that isn’t soccer). I would hate to have a friend like you who has a toxic “one sport mentality” and who spam comments in every non-soccer sports video. It’s ok to like more than one sport (which most people do), however your toxic behaviour gives soccer a bad reputation. If you want more people to appreciate soccer, then I’d stop spamming every sports comment section that isn’t soccer related. In the meantime, enjoy getting barred from CZcams for spamming. You truly deserve it :)

This is why I have been a Richmond supporter for 65 years, never waivered .Does not matter where I have been living in the world Richmond was always at the forefront .We support them and they support us.
One of the kindest gestures you could wish for was on my mothers recent 100th birthday ,having ex Premiership player and Captain Dale Weightman presenting her with a Richmond pullover, numbered 100 on the back.As if that was not enough 4 weeks later Mum was invited to morning tea at the club.Together with 2 other 100 year old members she met coach ,captain and players. That is why this club is so special, they even treat their supporters like champions.True supporters don’t microwave their memberships ,true supporters shed tears ,and have black and yellow blood.

I'm a Crows supporter and I can't watch this. The only positive that came out of this day for me is that Damian Hardwick is now a premiership coach. Our year 12 class did a football lesson at Alberton in 2004 when he was playing for Port Adelaide. One of the nicest and most genuine bloke blokes I've ever met. I was 18 years old and overwhelmed being there yet Hardwick made me feel so welcome. No one in the AFL system whom I have met deserved success more than this man

Some games last 4 quarters but for my beloved tigers that I’ve gone for almost my whole life it lasted 37 years, the stuff about finishing ninth, never winning finals, coach who’s “not a coach”, captain who’s “not a captain”, Dusty “inconsistent” then the change within the club I still just can’t believe they pulled it off just allowing the players to be themselves then to enter the season 5-0 I don’t think any of us even remotely thought that we would start like that and those close losses were heartbreaking but for the first time in a long time we didn’t fall for it we kept faith in everyone and played strong and bold football, the way my tigers are always meant to play and then Dusty staying was life changing the loyalty he showed was just unbelievable he turned down the biggest contract and most tempting offer in history to stay with us and I’ll be forever grateful for that. Then the finals came and like all other tigers my nerves were shaking thinking about 13,14 and 15 the finals we’d lost but we came out and played the way they did the moment when Dusty ran down the wing and when Cotch kicked that magnificent goal I think we all thought hang on we are a chance here. then that mesmerising prelim against the giants the loudest and most lob sided crowd ever and having 90,000 Richmond fans screaming when Dan Butler kicked that goal was unbelievable. Then the week was amazing and like Dimma said the photo was like a schoolyard photo, smiling and laughing with hands on shoulders, and I’ll never forget being on level 4 that unforgettable day and to see my team run away with the premiership was just an amazing moment that I’ll never forget, thanks Dimma, thanks Cotch, Thanks Dusty, thanks Jack, Thanks Rance, and everyone who was involved in that amazing premiership and it still brings tears to my eyes, “Can You Believe It!? I Can’t” Matthew Richardson #tiges2017

Decent bloke is Darcy Moore but I took exception to a comment he made about the Magpie supporters being the envy of all the other clubs ...One club more than match them ...The mighty Tiger Army , The Tribe Speaks and speaks loud...We will be back one day soon and look out Pies we're going to eat you alive...GO TIGERS..

I am, for 37 years. I've seen a lot of downs, and some ups, and saw from a few years ago, that they were going to do it soon. I'm loving it now. 2016 was a faux pas, another learning curve. When you don't have a team of champions, you have to start creating one, from players who wish to put in. 2014, 15, got to Elimination final, had to learn to win a final, as soon as they did in 2017, they'd go right through

@johnnytheprick We did not only play 3 finals between flags and lose them all, we played in 3 finals series (including being the best team and hot favourite in 1982) and made prelims in 1995 and 2001. Fitzroy is not defunct, they merged with Brisbane, and I can only recall them playing in 1 or 2 finals series in the '80s with no grand finals or prelims. Their last premiership before 2001 was in 1944.
