Hi there, could you please explain how content could be duplicated automatically to subdomains or to ccTLD domains? The theme and the plugins are available on all domains but the created pages on main domain are not duplicated. Plugins are available for this purpose but unfortunately all of them are outdated. I managed to setup Multiple Sites on my domain successfully, but sites added to it just do not seem to works. All Network Activated Theme / Plugin is not showing up on the network sites. Do you have any idea how to get the network sites to work with the Main site?

i am not so clear regarding what is multisite. i had owned my first wordpress website and like to create 2nd website , is this what you mean multisite?
So, I attempted this, but the subdomain isn't found. Does not the 'subdomain' need to be created in DNS as well? Just creating a subdomain that points to a URL doesn't mean it exists on the network. The DNS would need to be updated to reflect that I would think.
One thing about Multisite that worries me is if the main site (or in many cases - any site) goes down or is suspended by the host, all sites go down.

in case of multisite, user registered(subscribers) on main site will be able to connect to secondary site without new registration?
When a user registers on a multisite admin, they'd have chance to choose whether to be a simple user or a subsite owner

I have problems with a few plugins in the multisite, one of them I deleted, the other one does not let me in to the dashboard unless I deactivate it in the backend (and I don't see a way to set up the plugin for a multisite) and a few other installed plugins don't work either on a multisite. Could you please make another video about how to change this multisite to once again a normal single site? I would like to have this possibility, when I don't get along with the plugins. Thank you.
P. D. Done. I just uploaded the two original wp-config and .htaccess files. Maybe I'll try it once again, but I have to be better prepared for other issues which are different to handle on a multisite website than on a single site, as I saw.
Some plugins don't work with multisites, in some cases due to the nature of their functionality. Depending on what you may need for your business, you may require different solution.
We have 2 sites setup. Can we use different currencies for the sites?
If I use different domains on all child sites I would need Wildcard SSL sertificate? I use Flywheel host and as I understand I can only have the free SSL on the parent site. Any suggestions on this?

at 5:23 there are options to select between domains and directories but I don't have any options and when I continue it creates sub-directories. Did I missed something? What could be the reason?
If you had installed your wordpress after 30 days, it will not allow yout to create subdomains... only sub-diretories.

I can't access the dashboard of my new site (the subdomain). When typing "wp-admin" at the end of the subdomain URL, it automatically redirects me to a "No Update Required" page from WP. How can I edit my new site?

He was using a local copy on his PC as the path was stating. However, you can do relatively the same with FileZilla and editing the files on the server

Check your cpanel and add wildcard subdomains. Make sure to use the correct document root. Your host should be able to help you (in case he offers Multisite)

Great video. This is better than creating SD through the hosting provider which gives that dreaded "wordpress" extension, at least for me, it did. It is a hassle to get rid of it.

There are multiple fixes for this on the Internet. Just google it. You need to change a line in the wp-config.php file as well as in the .htaccess

Can the sub sites have thier own domain instead of being on a sub domain or sub directory?

Yes, they can and you need a setup on your DNS in order to do that. The settings in your subsite should be the domain name and not a subdomain, and the subdomain should be set up as an ALIAS to the domain name in the DNS settings. This way, when you open the subdomain, it'd show as a brand new domain instead.
You can check with your hosting provider regarding this setup, it should be easy for them, plus the very setup is free of charge.

Catoblepas καταβλέπω yes you can do it on a local host , check the code again guess you didn’t ensure you enabled wp for multi site . I tried it on my local host site and it worked fine

Does Elementor ever plan on Multisite Template Libraries? Client has dozens of location sites with same custom elementor theme on multisite network---reeaaaally would like to update 1 template for entire network...
Very good Video, I followed it and managed to have my site to multi site. Important to have a Note that after following the above procedure the wordpress site or dashboard may not appear . It may show page now found, This was in my case as DNS propogation took some hours. I had to further create a subdomain in cpanel first then create a new site in wordpress . Then wait for DNS to propagate.

Great Video. You may want to add that your new site DNS settings may take a while to propagate in case people are not immediately seeing their new site.
Is that what this error means? websitedemo1.candupix.com’s server IP address could not be found. ran report & it said your dns server might be unavailable.

It's often with vulnerable code, so it's not quite recommended to use it. Better manipulate the files either through the file manage of the server or via FTP
