@Salt Strong, what's the environmental impact of these scents....especially "oil based". That sounds horrible to leave floating around in the water.
@@sunshinecycling The oil used is from fish, so there is not an environmental issue from the fact that it's oil based.

I fish from a kayak so I don't like a lot of extra gear. Take an assortment of jigs and put them in a Ziploc sandwich bag. Now squirt your scent in the bag, zip it up, and mix it up. Now you have a bag of different colored scented plastics ready for a quick change out. Keep your jigs stored in the bag and restock when you go through the popular colors. Tight lines
I have a little hack for hard baits and spoons ,get some red pipe cleaners from the craft store and cut them into 1 1/2” pieces and wrap them around your rear hooks. Then just load it up with scent stays on all day long.👍🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟

I got my bottle a couple days ago, and compared it side by side on identical setups with Pro Cure Butt Juice. I caught my limit on 2 different species off the pier in 5 hours with Pro Cure, and had NO BITES on the Dr. Juice Saltwater Slam. The same fish didn't even touch my plastics. I am on the west coast, so I am not sure if perhaps ProCure is more formulated for west coast fish, but it'll continue to be my go-to.
Anything for a buck! Sad!
Procure I've been using it for 15 years it's the best I got shrimp, crab, mullet game fish
Give the Juice try. They made me a believer, but the stuff is a pain to wash off the boat.
Procure all day! Catching more fish on it than any other product. Did tested out dr juice shrimp and saltwater slam. But in Ft Desoto and Ozello area so far in all total procure is winning by 8 fish ahead of dr juice. I use depending on location zman slam shady or smoky shad in both locations but jig head is different in these locations FD used 1/4 oz ttlockz and Ozello used 1/6 oz ttlockz

Does it stay on metal lures as good as plastic lures ?

I got mine in yesterday. Putting it to the test this weekend
No doubt about the ProCure changing of color of your lighter colored lure….But it works!! I rub it on about the first 6 inches of my line (top of lure) to enhance the UV flash as an attractant. I have had them to hit the line countless times in shallow water when rubbing it all over the first 2-3ft of line, instead of wasting it on a rag. It is then I realized it was the UV flash they were after. I believe combined at the right time and conditions one scent will trump the other. All in all get out there and get your line wet and come to your own conclusions. ✌🏾👍🏾🎣

water based paint runs with water, yes but actually no, water based paint polymerizes and then becomes a totally different compound that is very water resistant, the question here is, if I dunk my baits in dr juice oil based scent, let them dry to the touch, will the scent stay longer on the bait?

Any oil based attractant is technically worthless because for a fish to smell something, it has to be able to diffuse into the water oil base since don’t diffuse into the water so they may be very strong. If the fishes right in front of the bait it won’t be if the fish is further away, like procure, it can dissolve into the water and get carried further away with the current otherwise it just stay on the surface

Berkley fishing says on there website oil based scents are no good for the reason they just float to the top of the water to quick. Gulp Alive is time released.
I’ve heard their scientists say that on a podcast. He said it stays in little droplet balls and doesn’t even disperse into the water and they can’t even smell it. The hottest Berkley product by far is their Max Scent. The Pro bass anglers are winning a lot of smallmouth bass tournament using it dropshotting. Berkley can’t make it fast enough to keep it in stock.
That is what Edwin Evers said. My 1st pack of Max Scent did not catch anything. Gulp Alive did not even catch bass or anything for me for 2 days also, this time on a bobber. I did see a minnow grab the Gulp and runway with it when the gulp worm was laying on the bottom not moving in very shallow water. Pro David Dudley said Power bait seems to have no effect, after 5 or 10 minutes in the water isn't that what Dr. Juice would turn out to be. I think most fish much prefer something moving, unless there in a super finicky situation.
@@Surfer-727 Dudley said powerbait doesn't work 🤣 it's the best artificial bait made for trout. Dudley's also sponsored by perfection lures if that tells you anything. He's not going to push his competitors brands. Billions of trout have been caught on it. We don't have trout here but I destroy bluegill on it. I've used the Yum dough bait side by side and it doesn't compare to powerbait. I follow pro bass fishing and the Max Scent Flatworm wins or places in the top 5 finishes almost every smallmouth tournament since it's introduction.
