what i love is that the $$K planer thicknesser needs a conversion chart because imperial fraction measurements don't work in lutherie. use a better system its called- metric, its easy, fast, less calculations=less mistakes. i like the teaching/ demo style.

I build my instruments in a garden shed with no electricity. Consequently the results have a certain
‘ antiquity’. I never blame my tools.

what angle is the scarf joint at? Is it 15 degree angle?
When I glued my head to the neck, my scarf was different. I glued the head to the bottom of the neck board. Is that a problem?

I make guitars, and I think customary units, with fractions, are much easier to work with than metric units.

This is useless to those who don't have all those machines handy.
You can always use hand held machines to do it. It will take longer and you have to be careful, but you can still do it.
I don't think he's making these videos for the general public -- I think he's a teacher who is making these videos for the students in his classes.
