thanks a lot, on most recipes it says you need butter and whipping cream but i dont like to use them too much (too fattening) so its great to see a simple recipe that only needs a few ingrediants. I will be making this tonight.
This is the 3rd or 4th cheese cake recipe I've seen on CZcams this week & at 65 I decided to have a go, got the cream cheese & going to make the pie crust from scratch using 1 packet of Butter nut cookie & 2 pack's of ginger nut & once they are powered in the blender I'll put in about 3 or 4 table spoons of melted butter & blend. As a 1st attempt I hope it turns out OK. Wish me luck for tomorrow 😊

@@kaypaul6237 The cheesecake came out very tasty but it did not set like how it did in the video. When using raw honey do not mix the cheesecake filling too much. Or else, it will not set in the pie crust. So it would probably be best to mix it slightly just to incorporate the ingredients. Place the mixture in the pie crust when the cheese is still firm and it should set in the refrigerator.
You can use regular sugar...white would be better . Just use between 1/4 to 1/2 cup depending on hownsweet you want it. Mix it in really well until incorporated so you don't bite on any sugar
Did u eyeball your vanilla because that looked like way more than a teaspoon? I follow directions exactly and it taste not great, so please be accurate because a lot of us but a lot of effort and for it to taste like lemon than cheesecake taste because we only put a teaspoon of vanilla rather than a table which looks like u did

How long has it been since you placed it in the fridge? Cream cheese on its own will eventually solidify and the powdered sugar will help bind it once there isn't too much liquid added
@@ShesMakinDough I let my cream cheese soften at room temp. Then I got all my ingredients, I did use condensed sweetened milk about 1/2 cup. I let it sit overnight in fridge. Woke up to the darn thing still soft 😡 so me and the kids are just cutting pieces and dipping the graham cracker crust into the filling, like a cheesecake soup 🤦🏽♀️

My guess is you need the powdered sugar to help set up because there’s corn starch in the powdered sugar which stabilizes it a bit
