This is one of my favorite songs by the top emotional musician for me, mark knopfler and almost every time I listen to it, I cry

This is one of Mark's greatest love songs, it's so beautiful, the guitar outro is gorgeous, you should really watch the live version of this song from the A Night in London concert.

Mark's new album (One Deep River) has many lovely tracks, especially the title track.....
Some fantastic songs but if I had to choose the title track is probably my favorite.

Mark was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits from 1977-1988, and from 1990 to 1995. He pursued a solo career after the band dissolved, and is now an independent artist. So if the name sounds familiar, he has had a great career with Dire Straits and now on his own.
yes, i love Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler solo. Btw these 2 have reacted a lot to Dire Straits already, just in case u wanna check out. For example "Tunnel of Love" with this fantastic guitar parts.

Now I know I was right 😊 good to see you share this love, stay blessed ❤️ like many others, I also suggest checking out the live version (maybe in your free time) from 'A Night In London', or better yet, from Shepherd's Bush Empire (Notting Hillbillies) - that is the best solo of them all, just magical ❤️ also, this song (as most of the Golden Heart record) was written for the love of his life, Kitty, when they were only dating. Worth checking out the title track itself, or 'Rudiger', a lot of great tunes, MK at his peak 🙂
