1. Coward only amplifies while you're blind; just tested in game.
2. Very fun clip at the end! Awesome editing, and a great way of making that content without having 20 minutes of boredom in the middle!
3. Reminder that you can reroll curses for those clips, so you can get the absolute optimal build; Quintessence button at the ability screen!

@@TulenTheGodLight You need to beat Level 0 to get the first machines, and pick your starting skills and such. Level 10 is for the last machine only, which upgrades your skull up to legendary.

1:30:27 Absolute Rule is THE curse for Samurai since he will one shot anyone with his Single Slash and Full Moon, that's just extremely better than equilibrium strike.

Now that you have the mod, you could do that Clone Stamp run you mentioned a while back. The one where you pick up Clone Stamp and build around whatever inscriptions it gives you

Since you do 50% less damage if your HP is higher than the enemy that means in base you would've done 100k damage with that full moon
But since you do 50% MORE damage on less HP, that would've been a 150,000 damage full moon slash.
(for the initial hero fight)
Given how much of his health bar you took out, a full moon slash with less HP would have been a one-shot.
Don't know if you noticed, but medal box counts the adventurers that fly off to the side. So after the third adventurers fight, you end with 80% extra physical damage. This means you would end the final adventurer fight with 100% extra, so getting it before the third adventurers fight is completely more worth it than before. Still not max 140%, but for the medal box to be worth more than chasing Fulgent Dawn Even after the second area does make it quite good. This also means you can get it after completing the first area and still be fine since there are seven adventurers in the second and third area combined.
Also, your mention of Katana Zero just makes me want to play the game again.

For crits - Veiled Mask, and there's a Cursed Power that locks your crit rate at 50% but reduces the damage by 40%. It takes more space than Orc, but I'd argue it's better because it's constant and does technically increase your crit damage.
So wait... You take the mask and gain 70% critical dmg bonus. You lose 30% crit chance. You take the curse to lock your crit chance but lose 40% critical dmg bonus. So you gain 30% critical damage bonus. This is just 5% worse than having a Hunters Wooden Longbow on its own. Plus you have 1 extra Dark Ability slot and don't need to lock your crit chance in. You could get your crit higher than 50% and get higher crit dmg% scaling.
@@Beelz55 Yeah, I just find it easier than finding a ton of different crit items cause they're my 'cursed items' - I never find the stupid things without spending every last coin rerolling the shop.

Well, this was all sorts of chaotic; even when you start with Samurai, your run is entirely cursed! You did end up with quite the hilariously potent one by the end, but knowing the Dark Hero was just shy of having another ~10-20% of his health wiped due to Courage not being active was a meme and a half!

Fun fact:
Equilibrium strike is a net loss in damage even if you're constantly at 50% of your health because a +50% damage amp is weaker than a -50% amp (a 1.5 multiplier is weaker than a 0.5 multiplier)
Having something like a "perfect build" at the end of your videos might be really nice. Like doing a normal shield run and then having a symbol of toughness showcase at the end. Just to see how broken skulls can be with any item they could want. Even meme showcases like all fulgent dawn and suonisio roaming nuke, all 11th finger of lighting, or all elementalist's blessing.

The weird command grab thing i guess ( this is my own observations and theory) items and parry/evade skills that negate damage such as : evading slash of samurai, warrior pauldron ,.... will block the damage but still activate the animation. My case i got the pauldron acivate and the dark hero use the succ , he still grab me full duration even if he doesn't deal dmg which is kinda odd since the pauldron effect lets you by pass freeza and the big mech guy command grab.
This could be awesome Oberon run, at the end of first act you already had 4 spirits.

i dont think u noticed but u had like 4-5 spirits in the first act, including shade while u have lu on u. i know its out of the theme, but oberon could be there from act 1

Heya beelz, I just noticed that you could have gotten a magic samurai run since you got reverse fate as curse ability on the first time you got to the dark abilty shop and there was stone of the heir quite early and also lou. Also veiled mask is good on samurai because the final slash always crits. Another thing you should have gotten shade at the second shop so you could destroy it for more money since you weren't doing a fairy tale run. Also can you do a full spirits run with desair. Also Mr Bacanudo said something about rerolling with the quintessence button at the dark ability shop on this video and the last rigged video.

Here's an idea: for whenever you want to make a Masterpiece run, directly start with getting Clone Clone to get the rng out of the way. All that's left is what skull to use Masterpiece with.
I don't think they've enabled Clone Clone again yet have they? I don't recall seeing it anywhere in the notes.

Even if you don't take damage, being hit is still being hit. Coward amd other dark abilities count being hit for their trigger effects, even if you're invincible.

update on ifirt bug: so after i switch from legendary bomber and activate ifirit it doesn't matter how long it is after bomber has been swapped, ifirt will somehow deal massive damage. my build for dark powers were king slayer, super baby, soul strike and coward. my build was grudge stone, ceramonial dagger, pristest robe, mages necklace, ancestrial bracelet, sphinx eye, nms mages staff and burning scripture, after switching from bomber and activating ifirit without nms, it deals 20,589, with it it deals 27,200, potentally 32,640 with coward, i dunno whats making this happen buuuut... im glad i beated hard mode 2, but even though i do have the clip saved, i wanna see if someone can recreate this, and i told how to make this build, so do what ever
aaand i never tested if the damage stacked...well thats one thing to try then

I'm mostly asking because their mechanics seem interesting, but the few times I've found them it's ended poorly, so I'd like to see what it looks like when someone competent is holding the controller.

You can see about 19 mins in after you pick up coward that it only buffs your hit when you are in the narrow vision mode

Just a heads up, the downloader for the mod pack seems to contain other files that Windows Defender gets REAL cranky about.
Absolute Zero feels like it should gradually slow an enemy until freezing then upon breaking it, have them be slow for a bit. Right now, it's just a worse stun.
