National Institute of Fashion Designing Chaitanyapuri, Hyderabad is conducting merit scholarship test from past 10yrs for economically backward students who want to pursue Fashion Designing courses like CGT(intermediate course),Diploma, B.Sc (Degree course) and PG Diploma course with job opportunities. The managing director Kanneboina Ramu yadav stated to the media that this merit scholarship test is to encourage women who want to pursue & built a career .
On the Academic year 2024 ,NIFD has conducted the merit scholarship test- 1 & released the cheque of 12lakh rupees of scholarship to the merit students on the hands of Actress & Bigboss7 fame Rathika Rose.
On this occasion,Rathika said present there is a bright future for women in fashion designing.Each & every day the importance of fashion is increasing & many boutiques are established in rural and urban areas. Due to the changes in people's lifestyles,especially young girls and women are giving more importance to fashion, no matter what the occasion is.
NIFD is not Only giving quality education but also providing employment opportunities in different fashion sectors which includes govt,private & self entrepreneurship.
