I think the scariest possibility to come from this fight is Kenjaku taking Takaba's body. Kenjaku with comedian is a nightmare scenario.

He literally said in the manga that Sukuna was the backup plan in the case of Gojo's release from the prison realm. Yet, Kenjaku is aware that Sukuna doesn't have a goal and could pose a threat to him at some point. I agree he thinks Yuji can play an important role against Sukuna in that case. He said he has great expectations from him. He didn't mean that because Yuji can control Sukuna. We know Kenjaku created cursed womb because he was experimenting on humans to see if they can reach their '' full potential''. Yuji is his latest experiment and likely the improved ''product''. There are already signs that Yuji can have multiple CTs and could potentially be resistant to Sukuna's CT if Sukuna's CT imbued his body. Hence, Yuji is still a contingency against Sukuna. Kenjaku is the final villain.
Either Takaba has a random come back because of the reflection Kenny gives Takaba by being the same bully who made him feel sad, or Someone will arrive and save him , inspiring him and possibly giving him a chance to actually hurt Kenny

@kesirios2019 Some people suggest that Takaba may unlock CTR ( Curse Technique Reversal) for his technique and apply it by being serious or maybe he just uses dark humor who knows?

I think the Bandit Keith reference is deeper than it just being a reference. I think Kenny is already inside Takabas ability, even when Kenny dismantles the jokes, Takaba thinks it would be funny if the fight plays out this way. Kenny being a critic that he has to overcome with his comedy makes perfect sense, he’ll think he’s winning the whole time till Takaba reveals he knew the whole outcome already, like how Bandit Keith got dogged on by the kid after thinking he was winning.

Fr.. I've been through a lot of shit myself. Drugs, jail time, fights, no family, homeless for years.
I developed a really dark sense of humor. Probly makes me cope with the reality of my circumstances that I don't want to see.
Takaba could easily be pushed to insanity or a hopeless situation where his humor develops to dark humor then he finds it funny when bad shit happens.
Altering your perception of reality really is the wholepoint of humor. When you start finding dark things funny it's because your mind is protecting itself because it knows if you face that reality in a non-lighthearted way you can't emotionally handle the weight.
Humor is avoidance of reality. Deflection. It is to reject what you know tO betrue and just choose to pretend things are ok. Like with may christians who struggle to have faith on an intellectual level so instead of trying to understand it with their mind they choose to just take a leap and force themself to not think about it too hard
It's a sign of super high intelligence if you ask me. When a person is very aware of the world and how dark some truths are they either go insane and cold hearted or they force themself to look away from their wisdom by trying not to think about things or turning to alcohol and drugs or looking at things with humor
If you can laugh at it, you change your reality it can't hurt you anymore. It's a state of mind where you just reject anything that isn't helping you and by pretending it doesn't exist it ends up actually having no power over your mind. If a blind and deaf guy is in a prison given 3 meals a day meditating in a warm blanket he might not even know he's in prison. He could be conpletely free and happy in his mind because his perception is totally different than the guy in the next cell.
And so intelligent people try to force themself into the "Ignorance is bliss" state by rejecting their own logical thoughts and just making things a joke or getring drunk and stuff
All it takes is a little terrible trauma and Takaba might change his mindstate to daek humor as a coping mechanism. As a comedian he already is attempting to avoid harsh reality so to avoid the really daek shit of dying to Kenny his sanity might just slip and humor finds a way to lower darker things. Dark humor is the same as regular humor, just the next level of intensity, both humor is to avoid reality, dark humor helps avoid the really dark reality
Takaba could just snap and start laughing at death like The Joker then people gonna be terrified there's an invincible psychopath altering reality😂

I think there's something more on Takaba's CT because even Angel (who's level might be a special grade sorcerer if he/she is in control of Hana's body with their broken CT) a acknowledge Takaba and trusted him to fight Kenjaku alone.There's something that brought back Takaba's confidence after his manager degraded him but the first time we see him in the culling games it seems like he is full of confidence.There is something that motivated Takaba back then and that thing should motivate Takaba rn
Due to Kenjaku's intelligence and experience, I had a feeling he would figure Takaba out.
I don't want Takaba to die.I hope Takaba can pull himself together and survive somehow. Maybe force Kenjaku to retreat.
By the laws of plot twists, this is actually going well for Takaba: him starting the fight in a bad state and questioning himself, probably means he's going to go through some important self development during the fight and actually turn the table on Kanjaku.

It would be interesting to see if he could accept "red". Maybe we will see him awaken? A sort of acceptance of you can't have the good without the bad/you need some rain to remind you of the sun type of shit.

Having the fight against Kenjaku boil down to comedian vs comedian is incredibly hilarous and creative. With what had happened in season 1 with Kenjaku and Mahito doing some antics with Jogo's head, this is a perfect loop back to those comedic times.
Pegasus used a kid to humiliate Keith, then Keith joined the Duelist Kingdom tournament for revenge(he actually meant to kill Pegasus since he straight up pulled a gun on him).

I feel like the end of chapter kept focus on what Takaba doesn’t find funny which to me points to the counter function of his CT. Angel had to have noticed something when she was saved by his CT after being badly injured, something Takaba probably didn’t find funny. I’m leaning more domain expansion but a reverse cursed technique could also explain why Gege hid her reveal of his CT when it was already explained in a narration text which is way more credible to the reader than her own interpretation.
If kenjaku is going around killing off everybody, does that mean he’ll have enough points to make a new rule?

Not really unpopular. Sukuna kills when he please but hasn’t shown that he wants to end humanity. Kenjaku wants to evolve jujutsu by creating chaos even if that means wiping out humanity
